I believe Coinbase isn’t supporting the ASI merger because 1) they want the swap fee revenue and 2) they don’t want any tax liability or penalty. A swap creates a taxable event. If Coinbase facilitates the merge, there COULD be some kind of liability for them.
Freedom and Financial access and self sovereignty is worth 50yrs if that's how long it takes to get crypto implementation done correctly.....I'm not in a hurry and I'm willing to sacrifice the BTC price in the short term for the sake of Financial sovereignty prevailing
Michael Saylor has been saying that he would like to see much smaller blocks on BTC. He is also saying that normies will not be able to afford transactions on L1 in the future. People will have to use custodian services which would transact off-chain. Doesn't sound very self sovereign
@@dsflat6785 BTC is for early adopters and the rich NOT the normies....BTC is a store of value and poor broke normies don't need a value store as they spend money as soon as they get it.....BTC is not here to save the poor but to give those with resources ultimate dominion over their wealth.....doesn't sound nice but this is what is best for the world
Hi Rob. I just traded my FET and Ocean for USDT 4 weeks ago. Once ASI is listed I'll trade my USDT for that. I don't know why people don't swap or trade for something else for now, until after the merger.

Binance will support the merger for FET, Ocean and SingularityNet. If you hold coins there they will convert automatically.
