slightly better luck from the timer stop
the decimal value where the timer stops will be properly random on loading the level fresh, hence the lead-in with a previous run and loading screen. super lame grind but at least it's short
timer thing you see in the top left is RetroAchievements (also makes the beep noise at 0:51). you can see the record in the level leaderboard on the site

also fwiw you can't use savestates when leaderboard submission is enabled for that site. extra verification?
