Double sync will affect only the deasssertion of reset. Assertion is always asynchronous in case of asynchronous reset used in design.

Hi Shan, Universities mostly concentrate on academics from theoretical view, but industries work on some live practical issues, that's why you see some difference. But however the basic fundamentals remain the same. Thanks.
