The next time I use that machine I’ll try to remember to show me using the pedal. If you just look up Juki DDL-8700 there should be some photos of the whole machine and you can see where the pedal is placed.

For piecing on my Juki DDL-8700 Schmetz 80/12, DBx1, but the Juki DU-1181N Schmetz 90/14, DPx17 (both round shank needles
Hmm. My 1181 n really doesn’t do well with quilters cotton.
Our tension was adjusted by machine tech prior to purchase in order to run this weight.
