Poor guy was just trying to make his way in the universe and got himself killed by Mace, depriving Boba of his father and clones of a mentor and possible ally.
It does make you wonder on what Jango would’ve done had he survived Geonosis. Which side of the war would he be on? He most likely wouldn’t join the Republic since they would probably put a massive bounty on his head for killing many Jedi in the past and for all the information on the Clone Army. Including its true purpose. So that is out of the window. He wouldn’t be affiliated with the Separatists either since he cared very little for their cause. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if Dooku decided to have him kept on a regular basis as part of their military, however unlikely that scenario is. He could’ve also played a major double agent act if Sidious were able to pardon Fett of his charges, and that’s assuming Sidious decides to let him live. He could still provide his DNA for the GAR, and allow the Separatist armies some intel on the army. But the Jedi and Fett would have a hard time working together, even if they were fighting with an army of his clones. Boba would most definitely become even greater than before if Jango survived. Sidious would need to eventually kill him. He knows the true purpose of the Clone army, and should he be captured in any way, that would spell major disaster for Sidious’s grand plan. At that point, he’d be a liability, and a major one at that.
Hello There StarForceOne I remember this story from 'Star Wars: Bounty Hunter'. It truly was a great game, it was difficult in some places but my word, it was fun. I have to say though, while the canon version is simple but effective, I personally regard the game's campaign as the true backstory of how Jango became the clone template in my personal headcanon. It was just so thrilling, deep and vastly more interesting than the canon version. I also regard many elements and stories from Legends and Canon in my headcanon as well. I'm really enjoying these Legends based videos that you've been making recently. Thank you so much for bringing our attention back to this amazing story about Jango Fett and the game that brought it to life. May the Force be with you. Always!
@@StarForceOne Well, you are definitely bringing out great content. I never even knew very much about the Nimbus Commandos until your video on them came out. I only knew that they fought alongside Alto Stratus and holy moly that guy was brutal.
I played Star Wars: Bounty Hunter in my youth and in my head the legends version was the only story behind how Jango was recruited to be the template, I didn't know it had changed under canon, but that version seems a bit empty whereas I prefer the story provided in legends. I can only assume Senator Orn Free Taa replaced Trell after his *ahem* fall from power?
Jango Fett my number 1 character in all of Star Wars without him the clones wouldn’t have been as bad ass as they were I mean they are cloned and were trained by the most notorious bounty hunter in the galaxy and also trained by other Mandalorian allies of Jango’s as well.
I like the idea of it having been a contest However I don’t think Dooku would just put himself out there like that giving all the bounty hunters knowledge of him I also think the interaction of Dooku trying to convince Jango was more interesting in cannon tho it’s similar in legends Also I think giving this hardened warrior a back story for his scars is unnecessary. He’s a mercenary of course he’ll have scars.
And also in the PS4 and maybe in the PS5... though I wish it gets a PC release even in these times. If you can't play them, you could at least watch some decent playthroughs on YT, if not a game cutscene movie.

After the big battle, Rey is made to go to the medic tent, where she meets Kix, who has been sort of recruited to be a medic for the injured Resistance fighters. No one knows he's a clone aside from the pirates he travels with.
Legends was way more thought out... I like that more... created more lore and sentimental value to why Dooku kept those curved hilts and gave them to asajj. It was a good story/game.

Yep, it works just fine. I reckon so many fans have their own head canon, often omitting things we aren't as keen on, many I think do that for the entire sequel trilogy :)

Doesn't work like that. It's explained in the same way as trying to copy a copy off a printer. The quality is greatly deteriorated and it creates a lot of room for genetic defects. For the cloning process to be optimal, you have to use the source template.
I’m sorry, but the canon version just feels soo lazy and boring. It was basically just a conversation. While legends actually had a whole comic series and game to give jango his backstory and place leading up to the clone wars
