This is really nice remembering when i used to play this on the spectrum and my next door nighbour had his on the commodore 64. Hours of fun. And even the soundtrack then was good. But this has improved it a great deal.

I use it as a soundtrack all during my campaigns in 'Dark Souls I', which I see/play as a current-times Last Ninja style game.

The palace gardens loader uses an identical sample as the dust brothers in one of their tracks of the Fight Club OST.

after listening to FastLoaders these versions are not even in the same league, the full live concert is on youtube they the best c64 tribute band out there.
As far as I can tell Fastloaders didn't form until 2016, I put this video out in 2015... if they'd have done anything by then of course I would have included it. This was meant to be a showcase of the best remixes at that time. Maybe Fastloaders took a few notes from what came before and asked how can they could improve on it, I'm sure even better versions will come in the future, but consider this a snapshot of the Last Ninja remixing pioneers. I still like these versions no matter what comes after.
