@@carlosandres7006 You might need a very low harmonica reed, even sand it very thin, as the sound seems to be an overbend, not a regular tone, and those overbends are bending to a full octave +1, not just 1-2 semitones. The free reed in the Bawu and such is very flexible. Good luck!
@@NFSCalex Thanks! I don't think that with this kind of material if you do bigger reed the sound will be good but usually for the hulusi or bawu the size of reed is related to the tone of the mélodic tube or of the drone tube.
Very nice video! I made the mouthpiece part following your instructions, but couldn't figure out how to place the finger holes on the pipe. Is there any chance you could explain that? In other words, I'm asking how you decided the distance between each hole.
Thanks! I usually use a model, in this case it was a cheap Hulusi, or I do some test with my feelings. I'm not really good with the tunning things, but for this one, someone already asked me so I took a picture of the schema. I can send it by e-mail if u want...
You cut a single reed from a harmonica reed plate then do the same procedure as before to make your flute. Use an old harmonica that doesn’t play well anymore. From my heart to yours Michael ❤️🎶
I've tried but I prefer the sound of the free reed made of plastic bottle or aluminum can. Maybe The shape of the harmonica reed make a sound less Asian.... Thanks
Great, thanks
Well done...thanks for the video...
Merci beaucoup pour ce tutoriel fantastique.
Best tutorial ever !!!
Gracias buen hombre! Genial video

@@GermanEze Perfecto! mas tarde te agrego!! Y a intercambiar para crecer!! Ja :D
Omg thank you you are the best!🙌🏼👏
You can use harmonica reeds ! This way you have different size reeds! From a heart to yours Michael ❤️🎶
Hey. I tried this. I only managed to get the tone of the reed along the tube and holes made little difference changing pitch

Thanks for the tutorial. Does the reed need to be a bigger size for a deeper lower toned instrument?

Incroyalivable !
Trying to do this with a box cutter is pretty tricky lol

Salut, merci ! Si tu es sur Facebook, je te l'envoie volontiers ou par mail. Raphaël Cochet sur Facebook
Can you share the ubication holes? The distances? I fail with the holes in a lot of trys
I can't send a picture in the comments but I will try to send you that by message!
@@etcoc ohh great! my facebook is ' Las cuerdas solidarias' and my mail is germanlederhos1989@gmail.com :D thanks very very much!!

Pretty cool man. I am going to click subscribe on your channel because I know it's hard to get subscribers on youtube.
