I love the mine truck chase. I've been to a few mines and seen those things moving around in person and its difficult to truly comprehend their size until you do. The hole chase actually reminds me of an incident that happened at a mine near were my uncle used to live. From memory a supervisor wound up driving in the wrong plane and was crushed when one of the trucks baked up without knowing he was there. The driver didn't even feel the bump.
During a long car trip for a vacation I got to see a mine very late in the night, and it looked just like this. Huge light sources and indistinct features, plus it was raining hard.

It also helps with FPS i remember seeing a lot of smooth let's plays back in the day use a similar resolution to get around low-powered/outdated hardware

Thanks, when the next update releases it probably won't be as easy to recreate this but I'm looking foward to seeing all the changes coming in the next update
I know everyone is talking about the horror aspect, but the scope of this game and the environments are insane. You just don't know how big the world is. And it makes you wonder what happened to all the people. Not including the weird ones chasing you, lol
I gave this a quick try and the first car wrecked me pretty quickly and they got into my car really fast. lmao these guys really don't fuck around. It's always hilarious like on the third car when you troll someone harassing you by swapping places where you got behind them and threw on your headlights.
Dude, all the effort you made to not get damage is impressive! You must've replayed it many times even on just one segment of the game at a time. But holy cow, I'll be damned if you did it all the way! 👏👏👏
If I can remember correctly, I think I only did the plow truck in one take, everything else took multiple attempts, all the attempts it took to make this video led me to perfecting the driving physics of the game and learning how the enemies behave, then came along v011 and v012 which completely changed the driving physics and enemy behavior so its much more difficult now
Gotta agree with DR's track design, I have done night runs for fun in DR and it looks just as creepy as the gameplay in the video. The major difference tho is that there are way less lights
I felt a chill run down my spine and all the hairs on my neck stand on end when that First Car music started up. I'm quite paranoid about people following me while driving and this triggers a primal fear. It's just you on a dark road, then suddenly you see headlights. You speed up to pull away. They speed up to catch up. This escalates until you are full-on racing like a bat out of hell, and _they're still following you._ You have no idea who they are, why they're following you, what they want, and at this point, you really don't want to find out.
First time seeing this game and honestly i was so confused as to why the video was called All Chases no damage because the game looked *so real* when I looked at this through my phone with low res i thought it was a real documented stalker chase. Then I started reading the comments and I'm now extremely impressed. Good job btw!
Never in my life would I have learned of the existence of this game had it not been for this video. Indie developers are the heroes gaming desperately needs but ultimately does not deserve. Not all heroes wear capes
surprisingly, a similar and scary experience to when you're defending against a REALLY good driver down a mountain pass this must be a great game to mentally train yourself for high-level racing in general
Oh geez man it's been so long since a video on Beware has popped up on my feed, this game has been living in the back of my mind for years now. I await the day we might finally see a full release 😭
For some reason, this is really relaxing to watch rn at 1 in the morning. Something about the hum of the engine, the background music and the aesthetic of the video is just really soothing.
man i remember when i was kid i had a nightmare like this. while it was an unpleasant dream its good to see a game that takes me back and talk about it with my siblings that also had this kind of nightmare. props to the developer for making it such a masterpiece and im gonna play it and hoping it has USB steering wheel support
Seeing pewdiepie play this years ago got me super invested in this game. And then I somehow forgot about it, now there's so much stuff I need to catch up on
Y'know, ever since I stumbled upon this video a couple months ago, it's had a strange affect on me. I think about it almost daily. I think about it every time I drive at night. It's so unique and a splendidly creative idea for a game. Would love to see a sequel in the future. God bless!
The 4:3 spect ration on this video made it even scarier tbh. Fits perfectly. The narrow view view creates for a more Closter phobic feeling. Just you, the way forwards and the lights in the rear view mirror chasing you. Amazing.
Imagine it’s your first day being a spooky murder car entity. Your first victim drives past you. You’re excited. You’re pumped. You’re gonna prove to that spider-Toyota cryptid that made fun of you last week how much of a badass murder machine you are. Turns out your first “victim“ was a professional NASCAR driver.
the V008 mine trucks are easily the most terrifying thing in the game. Having this massive, loud, and surprisingly fast truck chasseing you in a near open area with no small spots to hide in and a fear that this thing will instantly crush you if you let it. I nearly shit myself seeing it that close at 48:57 despite knowing full well that this chad of a youtuber doesn't take damage the entire time ( ignoring the extra clip ). it amazeing how well this game is and the AI along with how all the cars surprise you. the first most likely catching you off guard, the second being unexpected to most people and with how fast and smart it is ( and with the fact that the first can also join back in the case ). the third being an ambush, the fourth giving chase at the end of a long narrow tunnel, the fifth...um....The V008 mine trucks just being intimadateing with there size and even the light pattern. the Region 7/9 cars outnumbering you along with speed and spooky sounds and the Last Region Plow Truck being very aggressive and best summed up with by another comment on this video by dand7422 saying "The plow truck is just following you, it never harms you unless you didn’t give it a way". Truly and underrated game that needs more attention.
From what i gather, in this game you play an investigative journalist in the 1970s. which is an amazing concept, because depending on the story you're chasing, it's VERY likely you would have been chased by someone. What an amazing idea for a horror game!
Cant be done in the 70s due to the futuristic autonomous mine trucks and the third car being produced in 80s i think and there are no signs of you being a journalist
I had no idea what this was. It was on my RUclips recommended. This concept is sick and because of the low graphics, it probably runs smoothly. Doesnt require a lot. Like how Silent Hill got away with fog on PS1 to avoid creating draw distance
I've never heard of Beware in my life. And now that I've seen this, it has successfully scared me in a way modern horror games just don't do anymore. Holy hell.

Average russian day and night offroading nothing wrong to be seen here all are perfectly fine but these guys are probably hunting the player because of tao fraud
People who are stumbling on this game due to this video without having played it can't appreciate how HARD it is. It sort of reminds me of the old Driver games on ps1 the way it throws you into the fire. Many will find out after winding up stuck in mud mere minutes into the first chase.
Yeah i'll admit I do make it look easy, it takes alot of precision with the key presses and good reaction time, the newest version of the game v013 changed the car physics so it's arguably even harder than it was in older versions, I'm still getting used to the new physics
The game getting harder is a scary thought. Others have commented how long the chases can be and that's with a player who is driving well as a reference. I think a big part of that difficulty in general is how well the AI can stay with you at seemingly great distances. But you really get the sense of how much faster the goons are than you once you're at Car 3. Being more or less forced to floor it nonstop, or risk being spun out or shoved into the mud puts you at odds with the finesse and good vision it takes to corner well. Inefficient turns evaporate your lead on them at best or are dangerous to your health at worst. 180's can help, but if you telegraph them, they'll be right there with you soon after. @@Temporal_Shade
Last year i was working evening shift as a security guard (still am, just on day shift now) and when i was driving home on a Friday night, a pickup truck began following me off the highway and several miles to my house and was riding my tail like nobodies business...i circled through my neighborhood several times and they kept following...i sped up and jumped into my driveway and tore open the door and pulled out the gun i carried for work and aimed it in their direction...they quickly sped off and never saw them again...scariest moment of my life...
This is the first time I hear about this game and I've never felt SO EXCITED about a horror game. I've been fan of horror games for awhile, but there's something about this one that stands out SO DAMN HARDD compared to other ones that it just feels like my mind will explode from excitation just watching this video. Everything looks perfect. The ambience, the POV, the slightly hidden chaser...just. PERFECT.
it's curious. a game that was abandoned but had so much potential... I don't know if it's still in development, I'm not informed. but it is the only horror game that combines your skill and terror. the realism, the details, that make you feel and see that you are in unknown terrain and you don't know how the car is going to behave... so many details that make the game feel alive.
Why do you all have to compare shit to stupid concepts like zombie apocalypse nowadays. It is beyond dumb. If you ever drove late at night close to midnight on countryside roads or out of city roads , far away, with few to none illumination or forested area you'll see it looks like a normal poorly lit area in real life with poor conditions outside. Which is also where muggers like to stand and have robbed people before in lots of countries. They either set a roadblock with debris to bait you out of a car or stick and wait then join the road once they find prey.
You met an old lady who wants you to turn on the Power Plant Also there are some side quests where you help its husband, and old man to escape the place with their grandchildren and tailing a Bus whoose passengers take photos of the world
it looks like a very unique horror game, the idea of a horror game where you're driving a car the whole time sounds unusual but at the same time its a very unique premise and quite realistic
Thank god I haven’t had the chance to endure this hardship. It looks like a realistic horror movie if it wasn’t for the cool music and car noises that make me sleepy
Medium left jump into right hairpin! Mud in the field, do not cut! Juke right and immediate left uturn and lights off to shake the guys! Good job samir, you are not breaking the car!
Not the best way to practice rallying, but it's pretty reasonable to change the mood once. The music is scary, but it somehow slows me down , so I will choose another kind of music to listen to when being chased like this.
I get your feeling but I think the point of the music isn't to induce thrill but instead to create an uneasy atmosphere. Like you ain't rallying, you're being chased and are running for your life
At least the first section with the dam, village, etc. is based on Slapy in the Czech Republic, and I believe the game itself was inspired by the creator and his family escaping Czechslovakia in the 80s. So yeah, the Eastern Bloc vibes were definitely the intent.
Definitely like the vibe that this game gives off. Also, you know you better act quick as soon as the headlights fall below the bottom of the mirror, because they're about to make impact.
Danger lurks when driving car along the road in a dark forest pathway, trees or buildings are the obstacles for the monster chasers and they will fail to hunt you down
I mean if you replace the creepy music with some good Eurobeat it just becomes a low visibility touge run, seems pretty fun lol. Anyone know if this game supports steering wheels?
RUclips algorithm scares me sometimes. At a random day, i started thinking about a small demo of a horror game where you are being chased by another car being played by a youtuber named Draegast close to 5 years now last i checked. The moment i get home and open my phone, out comes a recommendation for the game now fully released. I didnt speak nor did i type anything on my phone regarding this thought; Yet here it is. Crazy.
Relatively open forest road and countryside with no place to run off and hide for low visibility adds to the dread. Just you, a plain road and a car following you with ill intent . Low visibility left and right, straight roads. Kind of the place actual real life muggers like to plan their ambushes or set up debris to make drivers stop.
unfortunately because these are early access demos the npc cars just teleport back to the road but I think the dev once said that the plan is to make them get out of the car and push it back to the road
Thanks for reminding me what this game was called Had it somewhere Also I see that it's still in development. I thought this was already the full game, considering the demo I've played was only that first part.

The hole chase actually reminds me of an incident that happened at a mine near were my uncle used to live. From memory a supervisor wound up driving in the wrong plane and was crushed when one of the trucks baked up without knowing he was there. The driver didn't even feel the bump.
Ive passed by a few mines myself but the mines Ive seen are much smaller with smaller trucks
During a long car trip for a vacation I got to see a mine very late in the night, and it looked just like this. Huge light sources and indistinct features, plus it was raining hard.
Arent those wheels like 20ft across

And you play this setup, with the lights off in your room.
I've often driven at night and thought it would make for an interesting horror game, this proves it's a good idea
I think the shoddy resolution you added in the way enhances the game's aesthetic and overall horror aspect. Gives off dash cam footage vibes except it's a POV of the driver.
I agree, it makes the game feel more real with its graphics!
It also helps with FPS

This is a gem, both the game and your perfect gameplay video, such atmosphere, such music... I find this video very relaxing. Would not mind being in the passenger seat, all the time.
Thanks, when the next update releases it probably won't be as easy to recreate this but I'm looking foward to seeing all the changes coming in the next update
@@Temporal_ShadeWhy do you say that it won’t be as easy?
It's been a while since a game genuinely scared me. This is incredibly effective in its realism and simplicity.
Bro what do they look like up close?

Dude, all the effort you made to not get damage is impressive! You must've replayed it many times even on just one segment of the game at a time. But holy cow, I'll be damned if you did it all the way! 👏👏👏
If I can remember correctly, I think I only did the plow truck in one take, everything else took multiple attempts, all the attempts it took to make this video led me to perfecting the driving physics of the game and learning how the enemies behave, then came along v011 and v012 which completely changed the driving physics and enemy behavior so its much more difficult now

But then you realize you got the ability to shove them into anything you can and you become the crazy one

First time seeing this game and honestly i was so confused as to why the video was called All Chases no damage because the game looked *so real* when I looked at this through my phone with low res i thought it was a real documented stalker chase. Then I started reading the comments and I'm now extremely impressed. Good job btw!
I like to imagine the V008 chase theme is just them blasting the horns to scare you or something
The third cars chase theme kinda reminds me of a train horn, I used to think the car had a train horn installed and was blasting it lol
This is the first I’ve heard of BEWARE in quite a long time.
Hats off to developers who make chill and eerie games like this.
The care chases remind me of Christine with her ominous pursuit of her victims and the movie soundtrack would make this pretty sick...
Never in my life would I have learned of the existence of this game had it not been for this video. Indie developers are the heroes gaming desperately needs but ultimately does not deserve. Not all heroes wear capes
surprisingly, a similar and scary experience to when you're defending against a REALLY good driver down a mountain pass
this must be a great game to mentally train yourself for high-level racing in general
Oh geez man it's been so long since a video on Beware has popped up on my feed, this game has been living in the back of my mind for years now. I await the day we might finally see a full release 😭

And I was like: Bro what the hell is this joke!? I CAN'T CHASE HIM!
the V008 mine trucks are easily the most terrifying thing in the game.
@@opetrtv9321 I got the journalist info from the game page itself iirc
This feels like the director from The batman (Matt Reeves) made the batmobile chase scene for a 70s movie in Russia and I love it.
I had no idea what this was. It was on my RUclips recommended. This concept is sick and because of the low graphics, it probably runs smoothly. Doesnt require a lot. Like how Silent Hill got away with fog on PS1 to avoid creating draw distance
The game is actually very resource demanding, my computer isn't the best at running it
I've never heard of Beware in my life. And now that I've seen this, it has successfully scared me in a way modern horror games just don't do anymore. Holy hell.
That second car music sounds like it could be in a early-2000's space flash game menu.

They probably just didn’t have the time to spend on it, this is a relatively long game.
Last year i was working evening shift as a security guard (still am, just on day shift now) and when i was driving home on a Friday night, a pickup truck began following me off the highway and several miles to my house and was riding my tail like nobodies business...i circled through my neighborhood several times and they kept following...i sped up and jumped into my driveway and tore open the door and pulled out the gun i carried for work and aimed it in their direction...they quickly sped off and never saw them again...scariest moment of my life...
the fact that this stuff seems to just happen out of nowhere with no reason is why I don't trust anyone on the road, stay safe out there
Can't believe crap like that is real
Yooo why was the music in the second chase kinda catchy and fire

The game is still in development
Unironically one of my most anticipated horror games, the only game similiar to this one is Dead end road, neat concept.
the way this game plays it out, gosh its so eerie and silence. kinda almost like an Zombie apocalypse but more of an horror than a Zombie apocalypse
This game looks like something straight out of my nightmares.
I can imagine this guy just threw on some euro beats and said, “let’s go.” I love it.
What's your objective in this game? Cause it looks like a open world as you could backtrack.
It looks interesting
You met an old lady who wants you to turn on the Power Plant
Also there are some side quests where you help its husband, and old man to escape the place with their grandchildren and tailing a Bus whoose passengers take photos of the world
it looks like a very unique horror game, the idea of a horror game where you're driving a car the whole time sounds unusual but at the same time its a very unique premise and quite realistic
Like you ain't rallying, you're being chased and are running for your life
Awesome driving. Wonder what this could be like in BeamNG, since anything you bump into can ruin your alignment, blow a tire, and so on.

The look of the streets and the towns, it reminds me of my childhood in the Eastern bloc. I like this look. He is cold dark desolate and desperate.
At least the first section with the dam, village, etc. is based on Slapy in the Czech Republic, and I believe the game itself was inspired by the creator and his family escaping Czechslovakia in the 80s. So yeah, the Eastern Bloc vibes were definitely the intent.

@@clientcomun1958That's even more scarier than I imagined.😳
In the demo from years ago, the first car would only chase you if you passed by with your headlights on. You'd get a headstart that way.
It's so easy to get your own car stuck in this game. I've always wondered what would happen if you got an NPC stuck.
unfortunately because these are early access demos the npc cars just teleport back to the road but I think the dev once said that the plan is to make them get out of the car and push it back to the road
