How to Lock Apps on iPhone (with Face ID & Passcode)

You can lock apps on iPhone easily with a password or Face ID, to protect your personal and sensitive information, and prevent unwanted access to your social media accounts, lock Instagram app, Facebook app, dating apps or messages. Lock photos and videos in iPhone without any third-party software.
How to lock apps on your iPhone using the Shortcuts app.
1. Open the 'Shortcuts' app on your iPhone.
2. go to the 'Automation' tab, and Tap on 'New Automation.'
3. Now, scroll down and look for the 'App' option. select it.
4. Tap on "Choose" and Choose the app you'd like to lock. You can choose and lock any installed app from the list. Once selected, tap on 'Done'
5. Tick ‘Is Opened’, and Select Run Immediately. Then tap on Next.
6. Select "New Blank Automation"
7. Tap on 'Add Action, search for 'Lock Screen'
8. Tap on the 'Lock Screen' option to add.
9. Finally, tap on 'Done' to save your settings.
Now, when you open the locked app, you'll be prompted for Face ID or your passcode.
