I'm just wondering why so many people are saying origins was bad. The bosses was great, the story was pretty good, the mechanics was basically the same. Idk...
To me it was *too* much like Arkham City, even a lot of the plot twists are the same (Joker kicking someone out of a window, for example), and some of Batman's gadgets here were more advanced than what he had in Arkham City, which makes no sense since AC is set years after AO. Basically it felt more like an extension of Arkham City, so I couldn't enjoy it as much.
I really like how Bane is characterised in this game, before his TN-1 injection he is Batman’s mental and physical equal. A true challenge to initiate the bat for what’s to come.
BigBad Braxien Well to be fair, I’d say before he took the TN-1 it was a pretty equal match. Bane was very smart but not quite as intelligent as Batman but he was physically stronger for sure however I’m certain that’s only because of the venom, without that I’d wager he’s about the same strength as Batman. Perhaps even weaker.
@@bigbadbraxien6081 according to the lore, he was born to serve his dead father's sentence. He had strong Willpower and quite the build when he was undertaking the Venom tests.
When this game was praising Deathstroke in trailer so much. Bane in real game basically tells player " Deathstroke who? Let me tell you what's the real pressure feels like."
I struggle to believe that batman would ignore the imminent threat of bane and start punching the joker instead. Although it could be because Batman’s new to this whole thing he lets emotion get the better of him
Bane should have been the main antagonist of this game instead of Joker. Forcing Joker into the last two Arkham games when his story was perfectly wrapped up with Arkham City really did hurt this game and Arkham Knight.
I think having joker here was necessary, just get rid of the black mask reveal and just have it be joker in the end. But i see what you mean in Arkham Knight
@MrWesdotcom even arkham asylum was built entirely around Banes character. Dr. Young drains him of his venom and uses it to create titan. Whole reason Joker let's Batman catch him. Unfortunately, as the first boss, he goes down without much of a fight but without Bane there would be no Arkham series.
Wow the game looks amazing in 4K 60fps. I’m still upset over how they never did a remaster for the consoles. This is the first time I’m seeing this game in HD lol.
Bane is pretty much close to being Batman's intellectual equal and later in the game it is shown that he's been studying Batman and Bruce Wayne thoroughly. He pretty much knows his tricks, when he isn't blinded by rage and the effects of heavy venom intake I guess.
The fact that Bane was not only able to realize Batman is hiding above the elevator, but to actually grab his leg on the first try shows he values his brain as much as his brawn. Batman was probably thinking "oh sh*t" to himself the moment he was grabbed.
Batman is fighting criminals daily and is probably pretty tired, while bane had lot of other armored thugs and him being a genetically modified soldier with venom serum.
Yeah I get what you're saying. Sometimes in the games when I'm fighting in the challenge maps or free roam with a high combo, Batman will for some reason, just sometimes prioritize hitting an enemy that can't be hurt (armored, shield and stun stick thugs) instead of like the 5 other thugs that are vulnerable. 💀
I had the fortune to play this game before the arkham asylum and the others, and enjoyed so great this game, deathstroke, bane and that epic beat down against joker in the end was the best, also the touching moment with alfred when he saves him are the things that make me love this game so much. Yes the ambient is so clear and not to gritty as arkham city, but the story is well done and the music is one of the best!
id switch origins and knight. Knight had shit bosses but professor pyg, riddler and jason todd were all great. And jason todd was easily 10/10 for me. But at least make origins and knight share the 2nd spot
