      Gotcha. I see a lot of these one-person businesses here in South Florida. If a person chooses this option, be sure to always wear protective clothing to protect your skin from the sun. Overtime, constant exposure to the sun can cause skin damage and even cancer. -Mike Phillips

      Hi bjimsondetailing - I just answered you with this same question on the video short - *Don't Let The Dealership Wash Your Car*. Here's the answer
      Just depends upon how deep the scratches are. If you drag your fingernail over the scratch and your fingernail catches or even drops INTO the scratch, then the answer is no. The reason why is because the FACTORY clearcoat layer of paint is around 2 mils thin. Next time you have a Post-it Note or piece of printer paper feel one of these between your thumb and index finger and the realize the clearcoat layer of paint on a new car, truck or SUV is thinner than a Post-it Note. -Mike Phillips
