Jaeger's hardest sniper quest: beating Tarkov's netcode

- It's no secret I love bolt action snipers in Tarkov, so when it it came time for the Tarkov Shooter questline from Jaeger, I was excited to get the show on the road. I breezed through them, as I'm no slouch with the sniper, and had just knocked out Shooter part 7 in a single raid. I was all confidence going into Shooter part 8... and it backfired into a mind bending experience of tilt and frustration for a quest that should be so simple. Kill 3 players, without dying, with a bolt action rifle. What could be easier?
Another imitation of drdisrespect.... Seriously, can't you basic-mind people make up your own things? It's really not hard to have own ideas. Good playstyle but the rest is just stolen and therefore seems pathetic.

It's the zeroing. Height over bore makes it so that if you are at a 50m zero and shoot at something that isn't exactly 50m away, the round will go low if it's closer, and high if its further out. 100 or 150m zero works perfectly fine for all of the high velocity bolt actions when using the LPVO sights.
I don't touch my zeros, most big boy guns will match up at 50-200m, I just aim at their chin/collarbones instead of their eyes for 100m headshots
And yet, I still forget IRL. Ask my poor chronographs.

Hate this fucking quest. I keep dying at 2/3 head shots. Psycho sniper is gonna be miserable too

Even you miss clear shots like that because the game is bugged af. It happens to me all the time. This should be on BSG's top priorities list.

In my experience it doesn't make that much of a difference. 50 or 100, a head shot in that range will still hit if the game fell like it. The same goes for 300 when shooting targets at 250 or 350. It hits if the game lets you. @@Rohrkrepierer
@@CeceliPS3 i can tell you with the utmost certainty, that what I described is exactly the issue. It rarely has anything to do with netcode.
If it were the netcode, you'd see the bullet hit, the guy do the getting hit animation, and then walk it off like it's nothing.
I have a clip shooting a rogue from 20m away with iron sight and missing the shot. My experience and SgtPrepperTV's are different than yours regardless of how sure you are. Sorry, but we'll have to disagree on it @@Rohrkrepierer

Shooter part 8 was so easy, i spawned woods med camp, ran into the treeline, a squad runs up, one shot double headshots 2 of them and the last one paniced under a tree and got a bullet 3 seconds later.
