Probably one of the best tributes out there. Wish it could go on forever but eventually Dio's music will be put to rest but never in my collection or mind.
If someone asks me, Craig does Vivian's solos as close as they can ever get. Tim makes Ronnie proud with his respect and fabulous voice. RIP Ronnie, never forgotten but you are in good hands.
he sounds just like him wow RIP GOD OF METAL GOD OF MUSIC RONNIE !!! sad kids these days dont know music how can rap or hip hop ever be considered music? metal is life its so powerful these words the movement so much more life then Crap
@tinkezione Some singers use lyrics. I saw Type O Negative about 6 months before Peter Steele died. He was using lyrics for HIS OWN songs that he had sang for 20 years. I met Peter after the show, and he was stone cold sober, very engaging and friendly. Why did he need lyrics for his own songs? Not sure, but I believe that Ripper is doing a great job. He was obviously ASKED to do this. It is an honor for him, and he has a great voice. And, I doubt that they are making that much money.
Ripper owns does a good Dio impression. This might sound wierd but I'd like to see somebody like Glenn Hughes or even Ann Boleyn with them -- but singing in their own voice. I appreciate the tribites are supposed to be impersonation, but this does not need to be a copy band.
Given that Goldy, Wright and Warren have been members of Dio and that LoMenzo seems to be a terrific bassist, this is a great line-up. But few people can replace Dio, without trying to sing like him (as does Owens). Glenn Hughes is one of them (although he must be busy with BCC and his solo career). Klaus Meine of Scorpions would also be a terrific choice and would do justice to The Man. David Coverdale would be great. Have you heard Dio singing "Mistreated"? It's time we heard Cov sing Dio.
Is there a particular reason why Ripper apparently needs to check up the lyrics from the prompter/papers every five seconds? Because that's what it at least looks like and if it's so, how can he be TRIBUTING the greater heavy metal vocalist of all times on an "official" (Wendy sanctioned) touring tribute band? He's got a great voice but he could be just so much more if he could put take that concentration of his from the floor to the actual song instead.
I disagree that its sad. This isn't meant to be a traditional " tribute sound alike band"...it's a tribute band. Tim and Ronnie were apparently good friends...Lighten up everybody...
@timetodepop Uhm, sorry, but maybe people just don't like the styles the bands took on with these singers/vocalists? I like Tony Martin, but I'm just not a fan of Ian Gillan's voice. The same with Ripper. He hast alent and can sing, but I just don't like his style. It has nothing with being narrow minded.
The singing is good. But there is no soul and no magic. The only person I ever heard with the similar soul and feel is Ann Boleyn (Hellion). Still this is very good. But the feeling is not right.
Nobody can replace Dio, but Tim Ripper has been doing an excellent job. Congratulations everyone.
Probably one of the best tributes out there. Wish it could go on forever but eventually Dio's music will be put to rest but never in my collection or mind.
It's great to see these amazing musicians honoring Dio. HAIL! TO GOLDY, WRIGHT, AND WARREN to keep us enjoying what DIO let us.
solo Ripper Owens puede cantar sus canciones como debe ser.
Long Live Ronnie James DIO
I just thank Tim and the guys from Dio for bringing Ronnie's music back to life.
I was there. One of the best gigs of the entire festival.
Best I have heard!! Well done!!
Can't wait to see these guy's! Goldie and Owens....can't lose!
Craig goldy is an amazing guitarist!
Admired the drummer. 🎉
What this is to me is people that loved Ronnie and just want to give him the rightful respect he truly deserves
If someone asks me, Craig does Vivian's solos as close as they can ever get. Tim makes Ronnie proud with his respect and fabulous voice. RIP Ronnie, never forgotten but you are in good hands.
this shows what legacy Ronnie left. They carry it on and truly are his diciples.
That is a huge compliment Wanaw, and I know for a fact Tim would be proud!
Fantastic! Would love to see these guys live.
Damn good job guys!!
Super❤❤
This is too good! Bring this tour to North America now!
This tribute is well done but way to soon it only reminds me how much I miss Dio.

Ripper's rules!
one day Ripper will become in a legend as well as Dio

Dio is GOD ! Ripper is Great !

En kutsuis coveriks ko suurin osa oli kuitenki Dioa...R.I.P
Great Ronnie would be pleased!
Okay...it's sounds like a casio tone-bank for the drums.
Seems Goldy tried to end it early on the last note, like the actual Album?

13 people was ripped due to talk to strangers.
He does a great Dio impersonation, I mean it isn't as good as dio, but its probably the closest I've ever heard.
fuck, i didn't see the disciples in the title, listened only audio and thought t'was ronnie :D
Please ripper owens join sabbath.
Tim ripper owens did a good job in the vocals. But nobody can replace dio.
...to strangeeeeeeeeeeeers ehey oh....
Go check Netta Laurenne version ... better live studio
I disagree that its sad. This isn't meant to be a traditional " tribute sound alike band"...it's a tribute band. Tim and Ronnie were apparently good friends...Lighten up everybody...
@tinkezione
maybe you could "put take" you concentration in to your typing...
Wow does bassist James Lomenzo think he has enough pick ups in his bass lol?
Val Kilmer can really play that guitar.
With good mics even trash cans may sound like expensive drum set. Anyway Mapex is cheap but can compare with best known brands
Você cantou bem,mas igual ao Ronnie James Dio não tem outro igual!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@timetodepop

well if dio is the god of metal then ripper is the jesus of metal...

What can't Ripper sing?
NOTHING!
I think what has always held Ripper back is an almost complete and total lack of stage presence. He looks like a timid karaoke singer.
Ripper needs to please step away from the Dio... Halford he can do...Dio, not so much.
Nonsense saw him live he was incredible on the Dio and Rainbow material.
Someone's deaf
