No, the fact that he basically spelled out, "Fuck You," to the commander, is what had me pissing myself. The commander wasn't sure if that was what he heard or not.

You think the Imperial Officer won't bring up the designation to anybody, especially a high ranking officer? Because if he does, he is so in trouble. Unless he defends himself with a explanation. Though it will be hard to find those two again since they did not reveal their real designation.

Vader was actually cordial towards trooper. Or at least he would just glance at the trooper, stay silent then start walking again. It was the officers Vader hated

@@lopaka76 he would either ignore or scold the trooper, telling him to not address him this way, but I don't think he'd kill him outright. If you think about it, we've never seen Vader unleash his anger on his minions, because he still has respect for soldiers. But not for officers that earned their place from the emperor or by pulling strings and favors

@@snipingflute4346 I mean, that's yet something else. Anyone seeing Vader's face would be instantly diagnosed with Die by Vader. There's also a comic that shows him become cordial with a trooper in particular, almost exchanging the same way Anakin and Rex used to.

I swear Star Wars just keeps getting better and better! I LOVE this hilarious side!! I loved when the rebel trooper had to connect though DIAL UP, indicating the rebels didn't exactly have the latest gear!(scrounging for equipment wherever they can find them!) This had me literally laughing out loud!!

Military personnel, I summon thee. How accurate was that dialogue with the Imperial Officer and just how well did he believe them?
Well, I mean you're not supposed to talk while in formation, or at the position of attention unless you're called upon. I'm guessing the FKU joke is pretty self explanatory, but FNG is definitely military slang for "Effing New Guy"
Coming from a US Army perspective, you don't talk or move around at position of attention, or in formation. Speaking to an officer is done at the position of attention so he shouldn't be moving his hands or head around he should be eyes forward. Not sure how customs and cortices works in the Empire but what the trooper did in the US Army side is proper. Whenever an officer enters an area you greet them with the greeting of the day.
The pretending to know something when you actually don't is spot on.

I love these videos. They’re amazing. But hahah omg the officer is so poorly lip-synced. It reminds me of the old Monkey Magic show being dubbed to English. I guess that part of the technology still has a way to go yet.
It has more to do with (Sorry to the animators) animation timing and quality of movement mimicry for lip syncing. Just gets harder the more facial expressions to you try to bring to the table. It's a skill set within animation that not everyone is great at or has yet to get fully under their belt.
@@Meravokas I’d normally agree with that, but I was under the impression they’re doing mo-capping for the body animations
With Metahumans the technology is there, but for this film it looks like the voice actors are contracted so they are unable to do facial mocap with the voice acting. Hence why I suspect the animators had to lip sync it by hand.
I love how this series is taking a page out of Red vs Blue with the whole "just standing there and talking" deal, not to mention that iconic line "y'ever wonder why we're here".

These are my favorite Star Wars stories. I love that the veteran is always stuck with the FNG. Even in the Rebel forces. Keep up the amazing work!

Awesome, the dial up modem was a stroke of genius! I love starwars but could never get into any of the animated series, i didn't like the animation style at all, but this is much better. You should be working for Disney and showing them how it should he done!
