I think Mo is a great carrier because you can travel about half the distance while still in burrow and even turn in the urn while in burrow if you drop it and pick it back up (Can help if they're contesting and you wanna try to sneak it past them quick). The reason I don't go for urn in this game is the recent changes to the urn drop-off location. Now when you're ahead the drop off location is pretty deep in enemy territory. So I only go for it if there isn't any other major objectives to go for on the map or if our team is heavily coordinated and we want to force a fight. Thank you for the kind words! The one I'm using here is an updated version of my original build from my Mo & Krill guide. It's called "Bavinn's Burrower Build 2.0" or something like that. You can just search my name "Bavinn" and it should come up. It's a bit of an advanced build because it's not a simple 'buy items left to right' style. The other versions may be easier to use. Honestly just a lazy moment, should’ve slid for a bit of extra distance. Was just going for a casual reset, did not expect the Haze to chase that hard. Good catch though, I should always be optimizing movement even when I don’t expect to need it.
Loved the video, but I will say the static from the music/weird laugh every once in a while was a bit distracting. Otherwise very helpful to show how to keep your advantage up!
nice video. i have a question tho. why are alot of mo players not rushing quicksilver reload. from my experience, i had the best lanes rushing this item. +60 dmg on scorn just feels unfair, to play with.
Quicksilver is a great item to pick up. I do build it sometimes but I just ultimately prefer other items for the spirit slots most of the time. Many other items provide utility not only for yourself but for your team; like Mystic Vuln or Slowing Hex. It just comes down to personal preference though.
One thing he fails to mention for new players at 5:15 and again at 12:50 is that he leaves the last tier 1 creep so that the enemy camp doesn’t respawn and the enemy will only be able to get one tier 1 creep out of it the next time one of them goes there. I don’t know the meta term but I like to call it a “Spite Camp”.
HUGE NOTE! Good catch dude I looooove and am going to use the term spite camp now 😂 This has been historically referred to as counter jungling. One note is if “their” jungle is yours because you own the space, don’t counter jungle yourself! I hope you have a great day!
hahah that can happen a lot depending on the matchup and how your teammate is playing. But the benefit of Mo&krill is you have insane sustain to heal that damage back, and they don’t (as long as you aren’t harassed to the point of having to completely back off the minion wave)
you mean where does krill go? Mo is the big boy. Krill stays on his back though, if you sow down the animation you can see him hanging on for dear life lol 😂
Hmmm, I'm not sure what you mean by pop it. Metal skin and Return Fire aren't shields, they're just a duration. So you can't out damage to break it regardless of how much damage you do. If you just mean your ult last longer than RF+MS so they end up dying anyway, you have a valid point. Metal skin and RF may not save you if you stand right next to Haze while she does a 10 sec ultimate. But it will give you a LOT of time to either dash away from her or just focus her down. And if multiple people have RF/Metal Skin (which they should vs late game Haze) then this is made even easier. Let me know if I'm misunderstanding what you're saying though!
The one used in this video is something like "Bavinn's Burrower Build 2.0" or something along those lines. If you just search my name 'Bavinn', all my builds should come up.
That can definitely be an annoying matchup… The way I handle an infernus is playing around line of sight constantly. I’ll never trade with him out in the open to minimize his ignite damage on me. I’ll only go for a few shots on him here and there, unless i have disarm up. Also I try my best to keep the lane pushed into him. It’s much harder if he’s able to keep you under your tower. But if you can keep the trooper wave towards his guardian, he’ll be forced to focus on last hitting and not harassing you. You have better wave clear early with your AOE abilities. Hope that makes sense. I’m just typing this out quickly on my phone. I can elaborate if that wasnt clear.
Hmmm, that is true but I’m not sure what moment you’re referring to. There’s no point in this game where we are denied off walker souls and those are the most impactful souls to confirm. At 12:50 there’s an opportunity for mcginnis to deny but that’s because she walls us off. I don’t think she does deny though. Besides that, we either confirm the souls or have the enemy zoned off already. Maybe there were a few moments where the guardians were denied though. Thanks for the feedback:) definitely something important to keep in mind.
The one I'm using here is an updated version of my original build from my Mo & Krill guide. It's called "Bavinn's Burrower Build 2.0" or something like that. You can just search my name "Bavinn" and it should come up.
I find MnK's base kit has *so much* bullet reduction you don't need green items till later, and many people in the MnK mini discord seem to agree. They even buffed burrow's bullet reduction to be after you unburrow. Well timed disarms, and the patience to engage only when you have enough cooldowns, makes MnK really durable even without scorn's healing. Ontop of all of that, he's so mobile you can just leave most fights. When things are on cooldown also helps give you an extra reason to jungle/clear waves/be mobile. An over simplified mindset is if you have ult, teamfight/gank, and when u don't, go farm. same mentality can apply to disarm/survival cooldowns. Spirit usually isn't super strong until after people have had time to build their items for spirit. While his green may scale really well, 'not dying' doesn't really help when you're ahead and already not dying. Alternatively, killing people faster is effectively adding to your HP bar by not taking the damage you'd take if they lived.
Sm1250 covered it pretty well but yeah, essentially, you can afford to be greedy if you aren't having issues staying alive. But if I was behind, there a good chance I would've picked up some vitality items earlier. Also, many items give defensive stats without being vitality items; ex. Superior Duration gives 175 hp, Warp stone gives temp bullet res
Hi. The two things that are stopping from watching your videos fully are: A) a conscious or unconscious bias towards mitigating self criticism. And B) not strictly sticking to “I” statements. To expand upon those two things a bit, I feel that at times, you censor some of your mistakes. As a viewer, it’s actually more valuable to me that you make a point out of your mistakes rather than not showing mistakes for the sake of demonstrating skill. I generally don’t care how skilled you or someone else is when I’m seeking knowledge because I’m here to learn from others and your experience is invaluable to me. And what you might think is a stupid mistake or common knowledge may not be the same to others. And as for the latter. I don’t really care about what your lane partner or teammate should of done either. It’s largely useless information as you or I have no way of controlling the actions of our teammates. I’m addition we have little to no context of what is going on their heads. I can work tho, but you ought to avoid it due to falling unit the trap of “my teammate baited me into a bad play”. I typically found that the lesson is “I should of communicated better”, or I shouldn’t expect my randomly matched teammate to think exactly how I think. etc. This all being said, I mean this in no ill manner. I like this type of content and it’s relatively unique in this niche. So I’d thought I try to share some criticism. Hopefully, it was somewhat constructive. One last thing. It’s a hard task to be critical of yourself and have it displayed on the internet out for all to see. So be sure to practice self compassion and take those opportunities where you did a play that your proud of to showcase. ❤
Oh gosh, I forgot to add. About point A). I may be completely projecting or just flat out trying to mind read. So uhhh take that one with a grain of salt. Okay byyyyyeeeee
@@Terra-UwU Hmm some interesting points here! I believe the play you're referring to is early on when we dive their guardian. I do say that the Geist made a mistake but then immediately followed it up by saying I compounded this mistake with what I did. I also mention that my tower dive was screwed up because I missed the parry on the guardian. There are several other instances in my narration indicating what the correct play would be versus what I did. Also there's the simple fact that this is a winning game where I think I played well so there will generally be less big mistakes overall. Regardless, I do see your point here. I should've just said that the correct play would be to let Geist die and back off instead of basically saying 'the geist shouldn't have done that' lol. With all that being said, I'll definitely try to emphasize and articulate these self-critical points better in future videos. Thank you for the critique!
@@bavinngames hey thx for the reply. I did start writing the post after the giest incident, lol. But I didn’t want to call it out as it wasn’t ment to be the focal point. It was baaaad. But it wasn’t until I paid for some coaching lessons n started changing my mindset that I hit my MMR goal. One game in particular sticks out in my head to this day. Anyways, again. She was actually the focus of the first hero guide I made. Some of the information is definitely outdated now. There's been at least 3 major patches that changed her kit since then.
Sticking to only I statements is some of the worst advice I’ve ever heard for this game type. Learning what is good play and what isn’t is how you improve at the game. Humans can learn and identify off others behavior. You seem to be overly applying basic psychology without contextual or deeper understanding. You also may want to work on sensitivity. The worlds rough but getting a realistic skin is only going to help you/your advice. Edit: Example just incase it’s needed If you note your teammate often baits the team, and you choose to ignore this out of over sensitivity and lack of respect for reality, it will lead to more losses and more bad gameplay.

End up half life or full health even as haze
Hmmm, I'm not sure what you mean by pop it. Metal skin and Return Fire aren't shields, they're just a duration. So you can't out damage to break it regardless of how much damage you do.
If you just mean your ult last longer than RF+MS so they end up dying anyway, you have a valid point. Metal skin and RF may not save you if you stand right next to Haze while she does a 10 sec ultimate. But it will give you a LOT of time to either dash away from her or just focus her down. And if multiple people have RF/Metal Skin (which they should vs late game Haze) then this is made even easier.
Let me know if I'm misunderstanding what you're saying though!

whats youre build called??
The one used in this video is something like "Bavinn's Burrower Build 2.0" or something along those lines. If you just search my name 'Bavinn', all my builds should come up.
@@bavinngames THANK YOU! I realy like your content I like that it's straight to the point chill and informative keep going! also your voice is great
@@tobiasengstrm5118 Thank you!! That's great to hear :)
I've learned so much from this video, thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
How do you deal getting matched solo lane against infernus. I keep getting it every game >:(
That can definitely be an annoying matchup… The way I handle an infernus is playing around line of sight constantly.
Unkrillable??!!
Damn that’s good…might have to change the thumbnail
Bro y'all really need to get last hits on the souls from guardians and walkers the soul diff is insane if they deny.
Someone as the build name?
The one I'm using here is an updated version of my original build from my Mo & Krill guide. It's called "Bavinn's Burrower Build 2.0" or something like that. You can just search my name "Bavinn" and it should come up.
2 greens for the first 18m is super greedy imo. Your not dieing but hes litterally got the best green scaling in the game
Hard carry ez game go next

It’s more of just the general mindset that I prefer to have myself and in others. Like I said, I’m probably just projecting. In my past with dota2, I was incredibly toxic to myself n teammates. It was baaaad. But it wasn’t until I paid for some coaching lessons n started changing my mindset that I hit my MMR goal. One game in particular sticks out in my head to this day. Anyways, again. I appreciate the reply and at the end of you day, you can’t please everyone and u gatta do what’s best for you. Not to mention your providing this content on your own time. So yeah, keep it up n see u in the next video. ❤️
P.S. Play McGenius. I’m on a personal fixation with her atm and I’d love to see how others play n think
@@Terra-UwU I get where you're coming from! Grats on hitting your goal in Dota though, whenever that was:)
And McGinnis could definitely be the next video I put out in this format!
Edit: Example just incase it’s needed
If you note your teammate often baits the team, and you choose to ignore this out of over sensitivity and lack of respect for reality, it will lead to more losses and more bad gameplay.
