Just wanted to say that your videos are the best I've seen. You explain and show the video at a pace that we can in joy the whole time and your information is on spot with understanding and seeing what you are showing. Keep up the good work. Love it.
The blue machine at 5:08 is a 35mm projection console. It houses a power supply on the bottom, and a projection lamp in the top. A 35mm projector (for theatrical exhibition) would be, or have been mounted in the front of the blue unit. Equipment made by Christie.
Another good video. I just came upon this one. I really like your videos and you and Mike do not use cuss words to get your point across. Thank you. Nice tin cabinet to recycle. All those plates in that pile. wow. More dishes in that cupboard too. A chapel maybe. Maybe some of the patients were religious. Beds with their spreads still on them. I liked this one. thanks for showing it to us.
In the top cabinet drawer you opened in doctor’s office is modern phlebotomy equipment that came into use in the 1990s. The cabinet looks from the 1950’s. (RN for over 30 yrs)
Its amazing that the building decae so fast, but I do understand. Too bad that the dressers can't be saved, but probably they are not good wood in the first place. Its amazing how you find these places. Good job JP. Love your finds MJ
Another awesome find!!! If anyone ever buys it it will have to be torn down. Elements ruin places. LOOK AT ALL THE DISHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a waste.
Great video! 3 places all rolled into one. I liked the bungalows, too bad we didn’t see more of those. Creepy place for sure. Thanks for taking me along
Absolutly Love your videos, you take your time and make great long videos which is better due to the fact you show EVERYTHING, very informative, THANK YOU, BTW the popcorn machine is from 1948 and goes for $12,000. I bought a refurbished one for my theater for $9,000 a few years ago..
Thanks JP and Mike another beautiful video with lots of great history to its name. The amazing thing about this property is that it had many owners that wanted to try to fix the place up and keep it going no matter what their ideals was. Its a big place with a lot of items still left in and all the dishes man you can open your restaurant its there. Thanks again love your videos
Another brilliant Abandoned vid ! Loving the Hotel/Resort explores. Your footage and presentation is always spot on. Thank You for sharing your adventures.
Wanted to extend my thanks to you and Mike for another interesting, well done video. You make it possible for everyone to share your explorations. Thank you!!
You were in the theater around 4:08 you can see the screen and when you pan to the other side you can see the holes for the projector - The Christie illuminator must have been part of the projector. Make sense why there would be a popcorn machine right before you entered the theater. I'll bet that was a multi purpose room.
The stirrups in the medical room creeped me out. If this had been a medical facility, I could understand it, but being it was both an inn and rehab center, I just don't see why they would have need of them.
Thanks for videoing the medical equipment. Those items are collector items and would be sought after by museum curators, doctors that like to collect antique medical equipment, antique dealers and private individuals that are into having that kind of thing for whatever reasons. King Henry VIII had a special chair made with stirrups of a sort for making ......... (I won't make fun of people who may of needed help in that department). I know a little about the stuff since an old relative was a gynecologist. The cabinets and exam table may of been made by Hamilton and it probably dates back to the 1940's. The exam table is especially rare because of its separate headrest. Even if the equipment was made in the 1950's or by another manufacturer, it is all still pretty valuable because of it's museum quality of condition. The last time I had seen a 1940's to 50's white exam table with detachable stirrups still being used by a private doctor was around 1967. You basically got to visit a museum for free when you saw those items. Like, you, I have always left things like I found them when I have done exploring, but somebodyelse may latch on to those items if they find them. I hope the current owner secures them somehow and finds a good place for them where they can be viewed for historical reasons. I have seen stuff like this outfitted with supplies from the same period and it is a fastenating thing to see. If that lamp would of had a bulb, it would of been worth about $375. But, all things are only worth what someone will pay for them. Take care! I would like to support you in the future when I can afford it.
When I saw the word 'Catskills' I asked myself if I saw this episode already, actually I was reading Rodney Dangerfield's wiki a few hours ago, and this is what it said: "In the early 1960s, he started down what would be a long road toward rehabilitating his career as an entertainer. Still working as a salesman by day, he returned to the stage, performing at many hotels in the Catskill Mountains"
I live in Pittsburgh. Allegheny cemetery doesn't have structures to explore but it's the 3rd largest cemetery in the world, second largest in America. The history is very old and is one of the first cemeteries where mixed races were buried. I've spent many hours there and even if you don't feature Allegheny cemetery in a video if you come to Pittsburgh you MUST go there. It's absolutely unlike anywhere else you'll ever go. I once found a dug out hillside in the woods there dug out of rock where seats were carved into the rock where some kind of ceremonies were held at some point in a dug out of rock "stage". Insane.
Hello ☺ Excellent !! Thoroughly enjoyed it. The Medical room I'm presuming was for the drug rehab. Great !! There are so many magnificent buildings just abandoned, it's a sin. I've found a whole doze of your videos, so excited. I know what I'll be watching tonight. Always take care. See you in the next video ☺☺💖
I think the poster on the stairs is from the movie 3 ninjas! My sister and I thought the boys in that movie were so dreamy! They were the same age as us back then!
@@topherloverjones8449 Yeah, a martial arts whiz since the age of six---in one of the dumbest movies ever made. Wow, the concept of having a medical clinic/office at a Hotel is something I never knew of. I guess it would make sense however, if the Hotel wasn't close to medical facilities.
It amazes me the buildings and things left behind to rot. It totally fascinates me. And the few words kids know to right on walls. It is always the same. Lol
Very cool explore guys , shame its so far gone , dont think there is any chance of saving looking at its condition , enjoyed this , keep up the good work.
Great one again guys thanks for what you do to show these places...but you see you almost got hurt at the end lol I get a little nervous when I watch... dont want to see you go through a floor.... be safe ...and I'm binge watching all of your videos!😊
Thank you! The close -ups of the plates on the big machine, not sure what they are, but no zips so probably before 1963. I think you found the theater. Look at the room next to the snack bar (with the menu $ sign). Looks like there’s a big pull down screen. The after-hours club: I think that’s at the pool house. Kept looking for Disco Ball- ha! Would make sense; get dinged then go tor a dip. Mike- souls you do us a favor. Love your camouflage shirt but when you’re not sure what you’re going to see next and there’s a girl’s head- arrrgggghhhh!. Thank you for taking this request under consideration 😳
Wow... just happened upon your channel today... the refrigerator/cooler doors shown right after the 2 minute mark of your video says Jameson, Hagerstown, MD. That’s near me and they are still in business... bet they would love to see those as part of their history. Enjoying your finds and can’t wait to see more!
THANKFUL I JUST FOUND YOU ON HERE...YOU ARE AN AMAZING VIDEOGRAPHER....I guess this will be my new addiction to watch! THAT POPCORN MACHINE WOULD BRING SOME SERIOUS MONEY. I figure the room with the pews were for maybe church-chapel or when they have group meetings,
This was a great video. My favorite thing was the mint green Waterbury furnace! I wish someone would salvage those dressers before they fall through the floor too.
Wow so so much of that stuff can be reused. Those medical cabinets are made of metal and can be sand blasted then repainted. And all that glass. What a find !!! How would someone get permission to get some of that stuff anyway? I'm very interested in finding out how. Not necessarily this place but any place????? If anyone can tell me I'd be very thankful.
Wow, thats a great find All of those things still their that was left Love the medicine cabinet and , omg, The dressers. They can be easily restored and give them.to people that are in need. Just sad its sitting their. Just like those dishes could be donated. I also liked the pepsi machine. That would be cool to have Great find for sure👍😊
The disco would have been in the theater room because of the open space and wooden floor, they would fold up those folding chairs and move the tables to the side.
Did anyone else notice at 14:46 the master lock 🔒 on what was the outside of the “motel” room door? I guess when it was a rehab they literally locked patients up.

La Minette had some cheap food there! That old school popcorn machine is sweet!
Wonder if the Xenon electric thing was like an autoclave to sterilize instruments??? Probably not!
You: Sara loves "that word"
Me: Yeah she does

Yes, it is.
That’s what I first thought it was. I’ve seen one years ago visiting my sister and brother in law who worked at a theater.
That popcorn machine is so cool! I like retro stuff.
It was a great find.

Most of them were locked up
Wow there’s more water in the clubhouse than the pool! Glad that you didn’t fall through! The fence in the pool was weird.
Was a close call
Awesome Jay and Mike, I like being down in the basement. Pool was big.
Love your videos. There was what appeared to be a stage at the back of the large room you referred to as the clubhouse. That was probably the disco.
Possibly
i love when you find resorts and hotels motels houses are my favorites

Great video 👍 JP

Another great video as always. Thanks for sharing, guys. If you're ever out Pittsburgh area, there are some pretty neat places to explore.
I hope to make it out there next year.

Poster said surf ninjas, prob a spinoff.
And the young man who looks like Bolo is in fact Ernie Reyes Jr.
Just a little trivia.... 😉
Awesome video!!!
Ah, i think he was in the rundown with the rock.
@@JPVideos81 You are absolutely right!!! 😏😀💙💙💙

Wow, the concept of having a medical clinic/office at a Hotel is something I never knew of. I guess it would make sense however, if the Hotel wasn't close to medical facilities.
They wanted guests to remain on the property for any situation.
surprised you dont find squatters or home less people in some of these buildings you explore
We have before, but usually just signs of squatters.
Mike riding this bicycle...priceless:)
It amazes me the buildings and things left behind to rot. It totally fascinates me. And the few words kids know to right on walls. It is always the same. Lol
I used to be amazed, now i come to expect it.
Took me forever to get Mike's shirt, love it haha
Thank you J and Mike for another awesome video 😁👍💕
🙂
Hi guys enjoy your videos. You missed that there was a drive in next door owed by the Aliamo's whom I had met years ago.
loved the video, especially the before and after photos of this place! thumbs up 👍 ❤️
Great Video Dave Heeren
Very cool explore. Glad you got there before it was totally destroyed thank you for sharing
Very cool explore guys , shame its so far gone , dont think there is any chance of saving looking at its condition , enjoyed this , keep up the good work.
I’m surprised you do not encounter animals in these abandoned buildings! Love the videos!
Very interesting. many thanks.
Cool video! I loved the medical room and the weight room.
Awesome videography again J 😁
Your videos are always interesting and I look forward to each and everyone that you put out 😁👍💕
Ty
Hahaha your friend’s shirt! 😂😂
The old refrigerator/ cooler in the kitchen area was made in my hometown of hagerstown md
The area with the pop corn machine had a movie screen and projector. They probably had the dance area there after the movie.
19:59 You can see eyes.
Look like a cat :)
@@akehapkap6143 Yup, looks like cat eyes to me. Surprised he didn't see it or mention it.

Pretty wood furniture that will be falling through soon 😢
I’m shocked how intact that room was considering other people came thru and all the destruction
I couldn't believe it either. Even the glass was intact.

Great Video
The session on the exercise bike made this video!
The movie display at 5:49 is Last Action Hero starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. A cheesy movie. 😁
The building with the exercise equipment in the basement was the rehab
