I'm 31. I don't feel old at all. I go out to spots, talk with the dudes skating there, occasionally come out of it with a regular skating comrad...
As long as you enjoy skating and the feeling of accomplishment that comes with it, and the unique companionship that skating allows, you're the right age.

Skateboarding is for all ages, you shouldn't feel old skating is for everyone, just enjoy skateboarding and don't feel put off or have that running through your mind.

Austin has such good skate spots all over town, I've lived here all my life and been skating for about 5 years now. The only way to find the good spots is to go on foot as far as your board will get you.

That stuff is called Bondo or something like that.
Skaters use it over cracks so that you don't get your wheels caught in them.

Dude this vid is sick man but how do you make that mold that malto used to fix up that huge stair set?
Go to Lowe's, buy yourself some bondo. The mixing instructions are on the tin. Then you need some duct tape, sandpaper (or used griptape), and spray paint to cover up your little DIY spot fix. Put duct tape around the spot you want to use it in so you don't have too much overflow to clean up, and then scoop some into the hole and kind of smooth it flat. Let it dry just a tiny bit, and pull up the duct tape. Sand it flat, sweep it off, paint it, and you're good.
