I was with you the whole way, it burns and sadly you don’t forget, but good to see you get a run on the board for the new season. Many thanks for putting me on to the whole bombarda thing, completely unaware of the technique here in Oz, had a chat with the local tackle shop and they were very interested too. I’ve made a couple out of hardwood - 25 and 40 gram and given them a burl to sort the technique out and am really pleased with the result. Looking forward to blooding them on a bunch of the locals.

On the point Gledswood Blue a salmon fly if slightly coloured and overcast. Blue mirage also good up near dumbarton rock. Mullet hit that fly and shoot off before usually coming off.. Absolutely love your comments. it’s not everyone that is into fly fishing and I just want to show viewers alternatives to catching some wonderful fish. Fly fishing for sea trout and brown trout will be on the channel this year it is one of my main goals for this season. Thanks for your support👍

Thanks mate, hope I didn't come across wrong. I really enjoyed all your videos. You actually inspired me to start kayak fishing, But I've been fly fishing all my life and big trebles and trout don't mix especially when practicing catch and release.

@@Aboutaweekago1787 no mate I totally agree buddy. It’s not about just trying to hook a fish with the crudest methods so it doesn’t come off.

Iv caught alot off big seatrout, and they fight like no other, over 6lb you have a battle and most doubles are lost especially if its in a tite spot as i fish!!

I fish with gear on a closed drag so I'm not exaggerating the fishes power and weight what's the point pretending that's what happens the longer on the hook the more chance it will come off

Thanks for commenting, your missing out on the enjoyment of the fight. Just powering the fish in is not my idea of enjoyment. If I had done that with that fish, I would have broke my top section of the rod or hook length. We fish with balanced fishing outfits for a reason.
