  • A good little time with the classic M16 Riddim. Big up Sly & Robbie, Lone Ranger and Scientist!
Drums from the Elektron Rytm, keys from UVI Synsations and the bass from a Novation Bass Station ii. Pitched delays from the Lexicon MX400 using the mixer for feedback to keep it cycling thru the pitch effect, delay from the Strymon Volante in Drum mode. Spring reverb from the Benidub Spring Amp ii with a MOD 2 spring tank and the Westfinga high pass filter inserted on the spring.

Any chance you explain how to get the pitched delay out of the MX400 (which program/settings/cable hook up etc....)

Sure, hook up is normal, using one of the dual effects. Load a delay with pitch shift after it (each dual slot can load 2 effects). Then you have to feed it back thru the mixer. So set the delay for one repeat and then send it back from the mixer channel to itself to get more repeats. Each time it goes out and back thru the unit you get the pitch effect, so it keeps going up or down. I have a video on feeding back a delay thru a mixer, look for that if you need help.
