- The race is about to start and the paddock is beginning to show a lot of movement. Drivers are putting on their race suite and mechanics start preparing the car. One of the steps in that preparation process is getting the car up to running temperature to make sure the driver doesn’t go pedal to the metal with a cold engine, or that he doesn’t have to worry about getting the car up to temperature in the first lap. To warm up the engine of a Historic Race Car, there’s almost nothing you can do besides firing it up and giving it a few revs. As the engine gets hotter, the revs get more aggressive, and by the time the mechanics are done, you’ve usually witnessed the sheer aggression these engines are capable of. In today’s episode of “From The Archives” we share lots of these moments of sheer mechanic aggression together with rough cold starts.

About "From The Archives": Back in December of 2012, HistoricRacingHD was formed. Its foundations were an undeniable passion for cars and the desire to share that passion with the world. Over the next years, HistoricRacingHD would redefine the online video world of Historic Race Cars, with a relentless focus on the sounds these stunning machines produce when they're racing on the most iconic and legendary tracks of Europe. Since 2012, we, Robin Wouters and Arne Hintermaier (founders of the channel), have travelled far and wide to find the loudest, most striking, weirdest and most magnificent historic race cars to bring them to your screen. 2012, however, was a long time ago, meaning that over the years, we have built up a massive archive of videos featuring race cars from the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s racing at tracks like Le Mans, Spa-Francorchamps, Dijon Prenois, the Nürburgring, Hockenheim, Goodwood, and many, many more other tracks. With “From The Archives” we aim to bring back the best of everything we have ever filmed, simply for your enjoyment. You’ll see, as the videos are released, that “From The Archives” is divided into a large array of topics, meaning that at some point, your own favourite topic will be featured. So, do you care to join us to dive deep into the HistoricRacingHD archives? Be sure to strap yourself in and hold on tight, cause this will be an epic journey! Make sure to add the FTA playlist to your favourites and subscribe to HistoricRacingHD with the bell notification active to see all future uploads of "From The Archives"!
Cheers, Robin & Arne

Was feeling tired this morning until I started watching this. Fully awake now 😁
This is quite the wake up call!
Most definitely. Love it!
Imagine firing any of these cars at 4 am in your neighbourhood. You gotta be really loved after that.
been there.
408 c.i. small block ford tune on early saturday morning before going to track in afternoon.
the 917/30 is an absolute monster
I think the 76 Charger was the first video I saw from you. Looked at your channel, subscribed and didn't regret it once.
Thank you so much for that! Seeing your comments on almost every video was always a very nice feeling. That continuous support from a small but dedicated group of people is what we appreciate the most!
@@Retroschaft Thank you for remembering that. I hope that the situation now will not have to much negative effect on your channel. I like what you're doing with the Archive series. That way we can go back and enjoy those cars again. And this is timeless anyway, hearing those engines roar. Stay safe and healthy.
Brutal with headphones. Thank you.
Isn't it supposed to be like that? To our understanding it is anyway 😁
Love this channel. Turn the TV up and enjoy !!!. I'm driving. Driving everyone in the family crazy.
Thank you for this amazing video
And also thanks you Peter Auto and the others for bringing all these cars to the tracks...
Have you done any footage of a Bizzarrini 5300/Iso A3C? It has a cross-draft Weber manifold that gives a really unique sound for a small block Chevy. You should try to film one if you can, and they're usually at Le Mans Classic, Spa Classic, Imola Classic, Goodwood, etc.
You mean this one :)?

These cars are all pure noise!
Why did that charger keep dying?
cold carburated engine and race clutch
Turned headphones down, that's LOUD😖🤣🤣
You should realise that I already put the audio gain at -7, and it's STILL loud 😃
@@Retroschaft The full version is necessary 😎😉😉😉
This video is the cure for erectile disfunction.
5:04: What´s that strange looking car left of the Ferrari??
I think it's a pedal car of a Ferrari 512s Coda Lunga
@@torque-drive2488 Yes, I see it now, it’s a miniature car of sorts. Those wheels would be tough to pedal around, perhaps it’s powered by a kart engine or such.

This was ain't gonna good to heard it from the old school driving bringing it back to racing test results for old car session
