Any comments on cheating by using engine during speedrun games? I love Danyas educational content and respect his level of play, however i cant get behind having engine run in the background during any type of competitive enviroment, especially without consent by the opponent.
Another cheating streamer? Surprise, he also mentioned all sus streamers. Hikarus case is different, hes a super GM. If Hikaru is cheating results wouldnt be so different, but that doesn't make it right.
Man these GMs living in rooms with NOTHING in them wtf! They must be starving, because wow: No posters, no shelves, no chairs or something to make the room more comfortable.
I'm sure Danya is making good money. He streams regularly, commentates on big tournaments, does coaching, makes RUclips videos, and has also published books. I'm sure he is one of the richest GMs out there.
Based on what? The best 'evidence' Kramnik has produced, are 1. That he suggested a candidate move that was a strong move according to the engine, but did not appear intuitive to humans, then played something else. 2. That he referred to the engine analysis during a game against someone much lower rated, during an educational game. For point 1, so what? If you play literally thousands of games Then, you are bound to have occasions where you consider all sorts of random moves. Inevitably a few of them will actually be good moves, it's only because he was streaming that anyone else even knew what he was considering. For point 2, given that he was openly using an engine for analysis immediately after games for the benefit of his viewers, it is completely plausible that he turned on the analysis a little early when the game was effectively won. The rest is just Kramniks own personal speculation about how a cheater would play compared to an honest player.
i think it’s just a tad absurd that you can remember exactly what you were thinking second by second on a random move on a random game 2 years ago (bc8) no sane persons buying that
I don't think it's that strange, dude. This guy plays like 100 blitz games every week, I'm sure he's very self-aware in why he would play a certain move. Also, you think it's absurd for him to remember the idea, but then you want him to remember entire variations? How does that work?
I don't think this is the case. He may remember the position vaguely, but he is probably just trying to reconstruct his thought process based on the footage. You know what is absurd though? Going back 2 years to find a clip of him mentioning (not playing) a move that is hard to spot. If you play chess regularly (and he does more that 99.9% of the chess community), there will be tons of cases where you consider a move for a split second and quickly disregard it and it ends up being the best move because of a very deep reason that you could not discover in a blitz game. For most of us, that will just be in our mind. As a chess streamer, he mentions these sorts of ideas to the chat.
Poor guy. Danya doesn't deserve to be called a cheater. Out of everyone in the chess community he's one of the last people I would suspect of cheating lol. He doesn't really gain anything from it.

Third monitor, disconnected and on the floor during room tour, I wonder if he sets up his third monitor to the right during title Tuesday for stockfish purposes. Why would you have a random third monitor sitting on the floor like that just for room tour...
Because he may use it at any moment. Just watch his own video.
@@vladislavkucher2718 yea , he may use it of course any time when he feels like to cheat
when it’s personal that’s the first thing they say is it’s not personal but use your name for clout or whatever the reason but there are great chess players like you and then there are clowns too and clowns are funny
At this rate, Magnus is next 😂
I wish people would just learn some stats, rather than say " oh the guy in the 99 percentile is beating 99 of his opponents" yeah thats what the stats show lol
Stats is one of those things that seem easy but most people, including myself, cannot grasp
if he says he is not accusing then he is not why are we accusing him of accusing. just place a camera behind like in tournaments and do a stream that is.. assuming he dosent have the beads in ofc.
Sue him!
I really do not think you have anything to prove. I have no doubt that you are not cheating.
just explain why Bc8 was interesting. End of.
Methinks Becky Harris doth protest too much.
You are great Daniel …….that Russian is not so great.
He's definitely checking something other than the game or chat during his games. Very suspect. I can't look at Daniel the same way anymore.
Thanks for posting this, though it pains me to watch. Kramnik sucks.
4:13 streaming the games is the reason why this is being brought up 😂. It doesn't matter if you stream your games, with the intent to use it as evidence that you're not cheating, if you never have a camera behind you filming your monitors activity and setup 😂. It's like me saying hey guys, I promise that I'm not wearing slacks right now, while only filming myself above my torso.
Wouldn't it be easier and faster for Kramnik to list the people he *doesn't* think are cheating. . . . if, indeed, there are any such persons.
Any comments on cheating by using engine during speedrun games? I love Danyas educational content and respect his level of play, however i cant get behind having engine run in the background during any type of competitive enviroment, especially without consent by the opponent.
Kramnik is making Chess a joke to the outside world.
Alex Kramnik Jones
Alex spoke sense from time to time.
Expect Alex Jones is like 95% right about everything he's said. Try harder clown
@@bobbymurdoch4678 Not from "time to time" but most of the time.
Nah. Alex was almost always right, unlike this has been clown.
@@hypercubemaster2729 almost always right ? lol
Danya, stop cheating
Another cheating streamer? Surprise, he also mentioned all sus streamers. Hikarus case is different, hes a super GM. If Hikaru is cheating results wouldnt be so different, but that doesn't make it right.
Man these GMs living in rooms with NOTHING in them wtf! They must be starving, because wow: No posters, no shelves, no chairs or something to make the room more comfortable.
That's a big who cares. Plenty of people just don't care to decorate
probably just his stream room lol i’m sure the rest of his house is fine
You certainly dont make any money just from being a GM! Very few super super GM’s make any level of money
I'm sure Danya is making good money. He streams regularly, commentates on big tournaments, does coaching, makes RUclips videos, and has also published books. I'm sure he is one of the richest GMs out there.
I do believe Kramnik is right and you did cheat in some games. After all, he is a world CHAMPION.
you're trolling right?
Being a World Champion is irrelevant to this case. What an incredibly dumb comment.
@@diamondhyena5631 Not trolling at all and am nott saying Danya cheats always, but just in some games.
That would be like people believing Magnus and Hikaru and their insinuations.
The rest is just Kramniks own personal speculation about how a cheater would play compared to an honest player.
i think it’s just a tad absurd that you can remember exactly what you were thinking second by second on a random move on a random game 2 years ago (bc8) no sane persons buying that
He restated what was said back then
he didn’t say anything no variations nothing
he was 100% looking at the engine
As a chess streamer, he mentions these sorts of ideas to the chat.
cheating is OK when cheater is nice guy...lol
