Power density will be similar, the batteries will just be lighter in weight for the same volume. It’s also gonna be a while before it becomes an affordable production alternative, more like a decade before they are as common as lithium based. We are pretty much at the physical limits of any battery system, just on an atomic chemical level. Li-pos are almost thermite level energy density. Best new battery tech can get from here is to make them from materials that can be lighter and mere environmentally friendly.
That said super capacitors will lighten up the pack so you’ll be able to have a larger pack for the same total weight. I also am looking forward to the trickle down of more advanced electric motors like the new Mercedes
it's an awesome board, i only got it up to 34 mph though, not the claimed 40. and thats with the stock street wheels (also i weigh about 185 lbs) kinda think the 40 mph marketing claim isn't realistic, so i wish they would market it more accurately, that being said, even 34 was too fast for me so i'm totally happy. (if you wanna go 30+ mph regularly you probably wanna keep your trucks pretty tight, but then its harder to carve at low speeds so its a trade off)
Get mine friday, have an Apsoboard F1 hopefully this is a step up,lookin at many specs & this one looked the best out of Tynee Mini Pro,Acedeck Stella S1 ,still lookin at another like the Pivot GT,Backfire Zealot X
it feels impossible to pick an Eboard with no way to try em! I researched all week and was like this is the board for me, Then i find a video that says it sucks at carving.
Where is a good place to buy belts for skateboards, I go on Meepo sight they are expensive 25$ and Amazon I can’t find the belts can someone please drop me a link where I can buy belts at for backfire and Meepo boards, thanks.
i have the board it's a good board there telling the truth but i can assure u u will get 32 mph 33 on full charge for like 10 mins after at 30 31 and i got 30 miles 145 pounds n like that was me like slowing the speed down after every bar drop so idk i give it like 20 miles riding fast fast and u can defintly get 30 jus have to ride diffrent you'll understand but i wish i would rlly known trust this the best info screw the vid ask me 100% and the belts on the board wills snap after 300 miles depends on how u ride u will need to buy new ones but u can cha he 36t pull with 255m for quick change in ride but it reduces miles so u need they 245mm 32t for best perfoomejc
Ride belts slightly loose, if they are more tight then when a rock or something gets in there the tension on the belt will make it more likely to let rocks tear up belts, riding loose gives the belts leeway
Buyers Beware! I bought 2 Meepo Boards (Voyager and Shuffle V4S) about 2 weeks ago, one of the boards came with issues and it has been a nightmare dealing with customer service. One of the motors is making a grinding sound, a motor mount had a stripped screw and the remote keeps loosing connection with the board. Meepo is saying and I quote “I checked with engineer, and that's not from the motor, is from the belt or something else, pls adjust it and try to fix it.” Their customer service sucks, they won’t stand behind their products and once they have your money, good luck getting any support. I would look elsewhere.
They are located on the other side of the world and have many other factors involved, Of course there will be issues dealing with a company that far away.
Man I have my board V3 since 3 years and it still running I have written to customer service multiple times to ask question and they answer me fast and have been really helpfull. I would say its a pretty nice company you either had bad luck or I dont know what else to say... I ride hard and stock and have had an outstanding experience overall. Generic remotes and chargers work wonderfull too. I love it.
@@themusicgaragetmg2330 nothin to do with learnin curves or any of that. Ling-Yi is known for not havin as smooth an ESC as others. FOC has improved it but it's still not quite there.
The customer service is comparable. You could have problems with either. Meepo have always been pretty good for me and many others though. This voyager also has way better specs than what backfire offer.
Order number #106431 My Voyager X, one of my motors isn't working, and I'm still within 6 month warranty. I sent an email to meepo, but haven't been helped yet. Can Meepo please help?
Great Video Guys! Love this super-detailed video! Please keep up the great work! :)

WIth the new solid state batteries coming out this year, Can you imagine the range we're gonna get next year! So exciting!

You have to push boat ( 2) buttons at the same time when the remote is shut off den you can turn the speed up to 40.mph on you remote / board 😉👍🤙
What??? would that be true? My maximum speed 54km/h with (32T-110mm)
I thought you needed specific pulley and wheel type?
I would've been so pissed if I bought this board, and it only went 32mph.
you need giant wheels and a tiny pulley but thats not really recommended@@kbskbreezy
i got it going 48 mph once im 155 and that was to fast i had to get off because i was shaking but its definitely worth the price

It does not suck at carving at all. Just a bit of tuning with the included bushings and this thing carves incredibly well

Did you check the meepo site maybe they have some in there
I've got one why can't I get any belts for it I don't do that card in computer s*** why can't I get parts
I bet this board is amazing if you ride at night
Bro… did those instructions say “Quick Shart guide” I guess it’s so fast your gonna shit yourself 😅
Is this a reupload?
10000 block of wood without belts I wish I wouldn't have got belt drive now

Also smooths out acceleration because the belts aren’t so tight it’s not as jumpy

OMG SAME my motor is also making a grinding sound in getting a whole motor replacement ($269) down but what can I do I’m thinking of getting voyager
Try 40 Mph!
⚡🤙🏼 *Great range in the Boosted form factor* 🤙🏼⚡
But the ESC still isn't as smooth as it could be, along with charger overheatin issues.
I guess the reason is coz they wanna maintain the torque discharge, so yeah, this board will need a bit of a learning curve to be safe on it

what should i buy
Should I get this or zealot s
I’m trying to decide too

@Dylan Smith I got the zealot s and needed bigger wheels on it
