Found this channel by accident, but loving it so far, we were in Scotland around the same time as you, stayed just north of inverness, beautiful place, and we got lucky with the weather, (kilted Gardener)
Glencoe valley is were the English army with the help of the Cambell’s clan massacred the McDonald’s clan including women and children with only a few escaping
It’s such a horrible thing to happen, a very dark time in our history. I love that area but I feel bad about what happened.

Just caught up binge watching all your vlogs from the beginning and I'm hooked. You are very entertaining knowledgeable and so funny.
I love Scotland and have just returned from a few days in Clackmannanshire exploring Ochils mountain range. Not quite as dramatic as the Highlands but the stunning scenery is amazing. Walked up to Dumyat and Alva Glen. Definitely recommend a visit.

I just missed you by a couple of days up there . I was in the Lost Valley 31st August. When you went right at the bottom of the metal stairs I was shouting at the TV No ! turn back 😂 Great video .

When around that area, the best way to tell if you are talking with a local clansman is to put your hand up their kilt. If they have a couple of Quarter-Pounders they are definitely a MacDonald.

I used to travel in my camper van and work up north in glencoe mountain resort. Also been alll over Scotland. Loved Neist point and Kyle of Lochalsh. Hiked 279 munroes. Loved it. Then the virus happend and the police chased me to my daughters drive to stay 😢. Im doing The west highland way soon, looking forward to it. . Your videos well cheer me up. Brilliant. Alba Gu Brath 😊

I think the McDonalds invited the English in , they fed and watered them and gave them shelter. Then the English massacred them at dawn in their beds. Men , women and children. I my memory serves me correctly.

The A82 is a great road. I was at Fort William the same time as you were up that way. I also went to Isle of Sky which is a absolute gem of a place. The weather never let me down either. Roll on next year, I'll be back up there.

Adam whenever you've not got the proper stuff for your cooking in the pan you just add a wee bit of water like 1/2 cup.. and the fat from the steak will make like a broth or thin gravy in its own flavor 😁 you know you know . Nice one, beautiful area for sure, pity it was so windy but was nice to experience a bit of typical Scottish weather. fantastic having the deer close by come the morning, bet they bolted as soon as you climbed out of the tent - Happy travelling mate👍
Don't think it would have had the same vibe with blue skies, was just right in a way ..... those deer though, had a eye to eye for about 30 seconds with the one closest pretty cool tbf

Your doing it perfect mate and you'll hit 40-50k within a year I'd say or close to it.

Just stumbled on your Chanel by accident, and I’m glad I have, I was in fort William last month for a week, first time in Scotland and I have fallen in love with the place. Drove past that car park, definitely having a hike to that valley next time. Love the content.

Ypu could really do with getting either a compressor or 3 way cooler for your longer trips or for now get some ice in your cooler. Shorter trips freeze a chunky bottle of water it'll last 3 or 4 days and save you wasting battery or giving yourself food poisoning 🤣

i remember driving through loch lomond amazing drive loved it, by the way you glen coe has shower facilities, i think its £1 for 5min or so, loving this vid already!
