I mean it is just a reunion of team NESTS minus one. I find it great that so many teams in kof people wanna play are just teams in the game. Although most of that is just 90% of the KOF roster being great.
Okay, so much to unpack here. - I love how Kula's theme here is her one from 2002: Unlimited Match. I think that song fits her the most. - I know that we already gone over the graphics, but the ice effect are beautiful. - I know that this is unintentional, but in Maximum Impact: Regulation A, Kula could drop a giant snowman as one of her attacks. Granted, the snowmen here are much smaller, but between this, Krohnen's Alba palette swap and the similarities between Dolores and Luise, I am starting to think that somebody on the staff is secretly a Maximum Impact fanboy at least.

But if you have BIG ice effects that are meant look really cool, but go away in a second with no time to appreciate it, it doesn’t feel good. It’s not like a power geyser where it’s an explosive looking move, it’s a cool ice attack.

Case and point: It’s not just about the kinds of effects, fire or ice, it’s about the *pacing.* Besides, SNK actively advertises their upcoming game’s graphics and aesthetics as a selling point, so they’d wanna show that off. Especially in their trailers, nonetheless. And, being fast for the sake of being fast, and not solely for gameplay purposes, pacing or what-have-you, is just dumb.
This is such a huge improvement from her KoF14 model, it's much better and easier to look at. I also really liked the hair animation as shown in her special intro with K'.

I don’t even play Kula but when I saw the thumbnail was like “Ayyye, finally”. She brings a good flair to the game with all her ice moves. Glad to see her back.
Honestly? Almost everyone important is here. Who isn't? Team Korea, Yamazaki and Billy, Maybe Geese but most of the time he isn't... I thinks that's it. We know Elizabeth will be next for the leaks, so this looks fine to me. I even wonder who the DLC characters will be.
better looking models isn't much of a plus when a five year dev difference still has most of the cast looking the same and cribbing animations and camerawork from XIV.

The sales would never make back the taxing cost. Once they have even more of a budget, that art direction will continue to be a big “never again”. What remains to be seen is what things will look like once they get their hands on Unreal 5…👀

I swear SNK's animation team doesn't receive enough praise for their hard work. Characters have so much life imbued in them, and Kula is no exception! From motion capture to key animation, this game looks so damn good! Using the Unreal Engine since SamSho 2019 was SNK's smartest decision. They already had an extremely talented and seasoned animation team, so all that was left was to get tools that made easier to work on lighting and shading and it totally paid off.
The interaction with K' supports my theory. K' and Maxima opted to leave Kula out this tournament. Probably due to Heiderns influence. Kula decides to strike it out in her own, and Joins up with Krohnen and Angel. Kula may be a teenager but NESTs experimentation mentally stunted her. She is just a child in a teenage body. So combining K' leaving her and a bucket of ice cream? Yeah I can see that convincing her to join them

SNK Heroines was $8 for one character, making that game the most expensive fighting game for a DLC fighter.

Agreed I honestly hate the redesigns of the Nests characters from KOF XIV. K's isn't terrible but it's a downgrade from his previous attire, Kula's outfit looks so childish and Maxima's design is just atrocious.

Kula probably has the most animation and emotion in her cutscene. Other characters usually just lazily raise the hands once or twice. Kula pretty much did legit ACTING in her cutscene.
Although all hairstyles in KOF XV looks like playdough but i really like how they put extra effort for the follow-through animation of Kula's hair. We can feel her hair's heavy volume, yet so smooth & flowy. Love Kula's hair animation for example at 0:46 when she turns around like that, her hair slowly but smoothly follow her movement.. and all other movements, love seeing her flowy volume hair

Cute. :) I never played as Kula much even though she has a cool (no pun intended) design. Leona was probably my main. I always liked those fast, agile characters.
My kokoro was not ready for all these doki dokis! They made her even cuter than she already was in the previous games and that's no small feat. My little sister can't be this cool!
For some reason, I never would have connected the dots for Krohnen to be his team's leader (let alone Angel and Kula being his teammates). Then again, I do recall people mentioning the possibility of an "Anti-NESTS" team (to which if that's the case, then it suddenly makes sense to see these three together and how their team logo is basically the NESTS logo scratched out).
Well k9999 has a really big beef with K', Kula hates K' because he always treat her like a child (which she is), Angel is mad at K' because he's way more popular than her. Also the reason Krohnen is their leader is because you know, Kula only cares about candies, Angel is all about being naughty & slutty, so between a ho & a child the safest bet is to let a psychopath leading the team . . . i can never understand SNK logic here tbh . . .

They want to make her more "humane" now. Also, back then, she was meant to be an important person to K9999 (her story later was replaced with Nameless's lover Isolde) and now it looks like SNK wants to idolize her just like Athena (the good-girl type for Japan-nerds) , Kula (for pedo) and Bewbmie (for her obvious 2 reasons, maybe 4 I don't know. )

Krohnen might attack Kula like he did with Foxy in 2001, But K' will step in and stop him. Ron and Igniz's girl is still present, I'll be surprised if he becomes a.sub-boss in this game, or appear on the ending.

The difference in quality is night and day! Her face and hair look much smoother and the ice effects are more intense, the new snowman special move is cute too. It's also good to see the ice breath special move isn't shot in such an odd angle that it's hardly useful again

En la beta se habia visto, y me imagino que por algo tienen su logo asi. Digo, un chingo de villanos volvieron tras la explosion de Verse, entre ellos Igniz y Krizalid. Ademas de que los restos de NESTS fueron los causantes del coma de la prometida de Nelson y tambien le dieron su brazo bionico. Asi que posiblemente tengan que ver con el nuevo torneo KOF, y por algo Krohnen y las chicas entraron para evitar que vuelvan a hacer de las suyas.

Both dramatic and silly. Dramatic part because Krohnen is K' true rival, like Iori to Kyo. Kula here happen to be mad at K' because K' left her out since Whip return to their team. So Krohnen take advantage over Kula and "kidnap" her and added to his team...and that is the silly part
Maxima during the Bellamy Live interview (you can check on KOF XV website in character page) when asked about why the team has different member/formation was like: "Let's just say our two spunky kids had a little spat." And he did said that the reason he joins the tournament is to "save a damsel in distress", which is kind of talking about Kula.

Kula's face animation slightly better than most of the roster, the others deserve same treatment. Her new hair model/texture is also prettier.
This probably just means everyone is getting the same treatment, the game has improved a lot trailer from trailer and it's still going

So about $50+ for 12 costumes or so...nah your gonna get screwed over again here I'm sure. Its the new SNK. SNK Heroines was $8 for one character, making that game the most expensive fighting game for a DLC fighter.

Agreed I honestly hate the redesigns of the Nests characters from KOF XIV. K's isn't terrible but it's a downgrade from his previous attire, Kula's outfit looks so childish and Maxima's design is just atrocious.

Kula probably has the most animation and emotion in her cutscene. Other characters usually just lazily raise the hands once or twice. Kula pretty much did legit ACTING in her cutscene.

Although all hairstyles in KOF XV looks like playdough but i really like how they put extra effort for the follow-through animation of Kula's hair. We can feel her hair's heavy volume, yet so smooth & flowy. Love Kula's hair animation for example at 0:46 when she turns around like that, her hair slowly but smoothly follow her movement.. and all other movements, love seeing her flowy volume hair

Not sure why she went from a cool girl to a childish girl, but love her story with K', Krohnen, Whip, and Maxima; NESTS characters look like a big happy family, love their family vibes. although initially i thought Kula is like K's girlfriend, but ok whatever, their stories are still cute, love how K' actually really cares about her.

I never played as Kula much even though she has a cool (no pun intended) design. Leona was probably my main. I always liked those fast, agile characters.
My kokoro was not ready for all these doki dokis! They made her even cuter than she already was in the previous games and that's no small feat. My little sister can't be this cool!

For some reason, I never would have connected the dots for Krohnen to be his team's leader (let alone Angel and Kula being his teammates). Then again, I do recall people mentioning the possibility of an "Anti-NESTS" team (to which if that's the case, then it suddenly makes sense to see these three together and how their team logo is basically the NESTS logo scratched out).
Well k9999 has a really big beef with K', Kula hates K' because he always treat her like a child (which she is), Angel is mad at K' because he's way more popular than her. Also the reason Krohnen is their leader is because you know, Kula only cares about candies, Angel is all about being naughty & slutty, so between a ho & a child the safest bet is to let a psychopath leading the team . . . i can never understand SNK logic here tbh . . .
Krohnen must be inspired by Pain Nagato to make that logo

@@theheadlessstar She was meant to be a half- android half genetic enhanced soldier during the NESTS saga but looks like SNK has decided to do her a thorough make-over, both in characteristics and story-wise i believe. They want to make her more "humane" now. Also, back then, she was meant to be an important person to K9999 (her story later was replaced with Nameless's lover Isolde) and now it looks like SNK wants to idolize her just like Athena (the good-girl type for Japan-nerds) , Kula (for pedo) and Bewbmie (for her obvious 2 reasons, maybe 4 I don't know. )

It was a pretty safe bet that she'd be here based on the leaks, but I love her in this game with her snowman attacks and her own wintery stage, ice skating and icy combos and everything! 😃 Of course, I know she always ice skates, but it's still really great to have her back, and Angel.

The difference in quality is night and day! Her face and hair look much smoother and the ice effects are more intense, the new snowman special move is cute too. It's also good to see the ice breath special move isn't shot in such an odd angle that it's hardly useful again

Se ve mucho mejor que el kof 14 me gusto los muñecos de nieve, me recuerdan a los de Metal Slug 3, ¿Notaron que el logo del equipo esta como con una marca en lo que era el emblema NESTS? como que ya dejan claro que están contra NESTS.
En la beta se habia visto, y me imagino que por algo tienen su logo asi. Digo, un chingo de villanos volvieron tras la explosion de Verse, entre ellos Igniz y Krizalid. Ademas de que los restos de NESTS fueron los causantes del coma de la prometida de Nelson y tambien le dieron su brazo bionico. Asi que posiblemente tengan que ver con el nuevo torneo KOF, y por algo Krohnen y las chicas entraron para evitar que vuelvan a hacer de las suyas.

On another note, I was very entertained by that new snowman attack she has. The Ice effects look really good too!
Both dramatic and silly. Dramatic part because Krohnen is K' true rival, like Iori to Kyo. Kula here happen to be mad at K' because K' left her out since Whip return to their team. So Krohnen take advantage over Kula and "kidnap" her and added to his team...and that is the silly part
Maxima during the Bellamy Live interview (you can check on KOF XV website in character page) when asked about why the team has different member/formation was like:
"Let's just say our two spunky kids had a little spat."
And he did said that the reason he joins the tournament is to "save a damsel in distress", which is kind of talking about Kula.
