Sound behaving acc to geometries. I was wondering if you could suggest how we can achieve the former? forms reacting to sound?

    • @DesignGoBrr
      @DesignGoBrr  3 года назад

      @@MohamedAli-iu9no Oh, and what kind of output are you looking for? If you look at the particle movement it's just going to be complete chaos. Even with this example here, which is basically a 1 milisecond beep it becomes chaotic immediately as it hits the wall, so with a music track it would just be a complete mess. There is no way to translate between senses. An example would be - how would you do a visual simulation of smell? Sure, you can do movement analysis of fluid dynamics, but it doesn't tell you anything about smell, it just shows you where it's going. Same thing with a short beep vs a nice song.

    • @DesignGoBrr
      @DesignGoBrr  2 года назад +1

      Thanks! Cross is just a preview setting - you can either use PointCloud node to show the points as balls (i did it in this video) or you can change the point display setting in the Grasshopper menu (in the top, above the component menus where you have File, Display, Help and so on)

    do we need panels if we want to calculate acoustics in an angular space?

    • @DesignGoBrr

      Nope, panels don't have anything to do with simulation/calculation. They just help with the accoustic performance of the space

      Oh yea, there are plenty of components that give you actual quantitative data, such as T30 Reverberation time (Echo). It's just that - numbers are boring, I prefer visual stuff, so I didn't show that part.

    Thanks for the great tutorial, but Ive used it for a project, but now that the design is almost completed I am stuck with 2 problems,
    1) The design seems to be too big to be selected as a whole but I am not sure how to get around this.
    2) The point seems to only work when it is very close to the brep, or else the visualise pachyderm rays would have the error 1. Solution exception:Index was outside the bounds of the array.
    It would be great if someone could help me solve this, thank you
