- Video looks at the enthalpy changes involved followed by the cycles for exothermic and endothermic enthalpies of solution. Finishes by looking at the factors affecting enthalpies of hydration and lattice enthalpy and how they link to the overall enthalpy change.
Haven’t gone through so many chem videos in my life
Ur the best channel for a level chemistry
Thanks for that 🙏🙏🙏
Absolutely amazing channel, you make chemistry look so easy. If only you taught me in person as well lol. My hat goes off to you, words cannot explain how much this channel has helped me. Keep up the amazing work!!!
This channel is an absolute lifesaver. Thank you so much!!! Going to recommend it to everyone. Wish there was a channel like this for a level biology too.
Halima Patel Really pleased you’re finding it helpful. Thanks for getting in touch. Sorry can’t help with the Biology
Try Tailored Tutors, Mr Exham, Ms Cooper's A Level Biology or Mr Pollock for A Level Biology
Chrissy Cream Ibe Thanks for the suggestions, will definitely check them out
Tailored tutors changed my life, from E to a B! It’s abit pricy but grades are permanent so u should invest 🙌🏾
really useful!! thank you
Kat Great to hear! Thanks 🙏🏻
so in an exam to know if to draw an exo or endo cycle it would be due to the fact if the enthalpy of solution is endo or exo
Exactly
Great video, just one question why would a greater attraction between the ions and water molecules cause a more exothermic lattice enthalpy, wouldn't it just affect the hydration enthalpy? Thank you!
If you’re referring to the last slide I’m treating them separately.
@@MaChemGuy as in attraction between just ions and another attraction between ions and water molecules?
