Agreed. I thought it was just his theme and was thinking wow, they finally made a Rathalos theme that’s very epic for the series mascot, and not an annoying theme, which I felt the one in previous titles have been.
Very, very ironic is that we thought with the ability to jump anywhere, Rathalos would fly even more endlessly, but NOPE, he actually lands more often in Rise lmao.
First time visiting lava area: gah... another volcanic area in MH First time this theme playing: never though volcanic area has become my favorite area for the first time ever in mh!
I know right! I have literally hated EVERY Monster Hunter volcano map I’ve seen thus far, but this one is just too epic and too amazing for me to not praise its design and music.
Agnaktor's absence is weird when they have so many Leviathans in the game already. Hell, I want them to add subspecies so we can have Glacial Agnaktor too.
I've been listening to this for a long while now because it's just so damn good. But I just realized... where's the vocals? I thought all the major themes in Rise will have vocals? edit: Okay, I hear some background noise around 0:08 that starts to swell at 0:20, which may be vocals. But I'm not sure. It also appears again around 0:50.
@@Nedoxu Yeah. It's just way less pronounced compared to the other tracks' vocals. Sounded more like violins maintaining a note or something, but with a little more "noise" if that makes sense.
Even though the game is probably the easiest mh by far, at least the themes are amazing, and they did a great job improving Rathalos moveset, now he can be rightfully be called "King of the Skies".

I heard this theme first against Rathalos, my god is it perfect for him. It really fits the most iconic monster in the game.
And he is finally a decent fight

What a load of rubbish.
Rathalos the most iconic Monster?
That's clearly King Shakalaka.

Everybody be talking about how this song fits Rathalos then there's me vibing with my giant fire-breathing spider
