Full guitar tutorial for Not A Second Time by The Beatles. Based on detailed analysis of the original studio recording. Recorded in September 1963, the original track featured Starr on drums, McCartney on bass, Lennon on acoustic guitar and Harrison on electric guitar. George Martin subsequently overdubbed the piano, playing octaves in a low register.
Some commentators have suggested that McCartney and/or Harrison do not play on the track. However, McCartney's bass can be heard (though low in the mix, amongst the piano) and Harrison's guitar can also be heard, playing a rhythm similar to the piano.
