I love the detail of Odysseus' face not being shown at first, to represent how unknown/foreign he is to Telemachus and then once we (and in turn he) see it it's just as soft and sweet as his. Idk I might be reading too much into it but I just think that was really cute.

the only gripe i have with this saga is that it feels like ody's actions are brushed under the rug super fast, and this animatic does such a good job of fixing that by showing how scary ody really is for the first half and slowly humanizing him again!! i love it so much im obsessed
The fact Odi worried so much about what his son could have suffered while away rather than singing about the hardships he had is always such a great choice never once does he say what he did to get home because all he cared about was that he was home and his son was safe
