Mayan Worry Dolls

Worry Dolls or Muñecas Quitapenas are used to help soothe a child's fears and anxieties. Used by the Mayan communities in Guatemala, Mexico, and other Central American countries, Worry Dolls date back to precolonial America and continue to be an important part in the lives of children of Mayan descent. Learn the history of these dolls and create your very own.
