The impression I am having of this resort is not enough to make me wanna go there. I am just not liking what I am seeing. When you're on your well deserved Caribbean get away, you wanna see plenty of guests, and a lively place. Like the previous commenter indicated, it seems deserted, like giving you the feeling that it is not frequented by vacationers. Almost a mystery/suspense kind of thing you see on an old time tv setting. After a long day of travelling to get here going up and down stairs is not something you wanna start doing either. I think I would pass on this resort.
Well, I should explain, that was during Corona times, I think may 2022. And international tourism wasnt still open for everybody or very hard to travel. You should maybe check other videos from 2023 or even this year. I liked it there during corona times, because there werent many tourists and it was like a private home where we had the rooms and pool. But, as I said, maybe check out other videos too! I was just looking up resorts in Puerto Plata for our next vacation, and from what I saw about the Crown Residence Suites, I would not take it. The whole idea of only 90 rooms in a resort is not my thing at all. Looking through your video also showed me aspects that help seal that decision for me. @@etimsam Yes, I understand, there are many other options. I heard, that they sometimes wanna sell apartments there also to visitors, but I was there with my dominican family, they didnt try to sell to us, becasue we have a house in the country anyway. But just one more thing, it is onl y90 rooms in that area, the whole resort is huge as you can see on their website, where is also a maps of the property: www.lhvcresorts.com/ All the best from Germany to Canada!
