Most action figures look good facing out from a shelf and that's it, this Big Chungus has a story to tell from every angle. I bet toy photographers are going to have a blasty blast with this guy!

What's cool about figures like this is you can mix him in with other toylines. Like Godzilla x Kong, or gargoyles Mortal Kombat Spawn etc. he'd fit right in if there's pirates figures.

This is a fantastic sculpt. This is too chunky for my preferred Cthulhu, though. If I saw him for a decent price in person at a toy show, then I might pick him up just to have him. There isn’t enough Cthulhu Mythos stuff in toy form out there. I think this company has another Lovecraftian monster coming out, too. I want to say they’re making an Elder Thing. There are some really great monsters to draw inspiration from as long as you don’t mind different interpretations, since Lovecraft was big on not really getting into definite descriptions. Great review as always.
Also, was that tentacle quote from Maniac Mansion or Day of the Tentacle?

I'm wondering whether all of these The Last Ronin Donatello's have this paint issue with the trousers being slightly darker than they should be as I saw another review that looked the same as yours. This could be down to a factory error.

That's not quite what I imagine when I picture Cthulhu, but it's a beautiful figure nonetheless. Unfortunately I'm on a tight budget and there are other figures I need more, so doubt I'll ever get the change to own one.

Small company, low production, big sculpt. It definitely gets pricey when going after several things, but it’s certainly priced fairly.

The paint job looks better on the 5ktoys pictures than the actual figure that they send to you nostalgic . 150 bucks that's to much money for a figure , 100 bucks sounds reasonable . I will have to see the final product release I thought he was going to be bigger. Probably a pass for me.
