@@RobertKabeiseman Thank you. I'm testing it tomorrow morning. I know they're super cheap, but I bought them for people to just have a little fun for an afternoon. Hopefully the two cheapies can serve that purpose.
@ Will check out your test results four sure😎 Have a friend in Hawaii that did this with a detector that was about $79, never really heard about his findings, it was off Amazon, though I known for not prying🤔😎 Hwy, if a kid finds a quarter or something, it might make their day😎 See you on the test👍
@@RobertKabeiseman They did work. Even in damp sand very close to the water, so that's a positive. The video will post Wednesday afternoon CST. I was impressed by them for the money. If I rent them three times, I'll recoup my costs, so there is minimal risk. Time will tell.
Thank you. I hope so. My test showed they work, even in damp sand very close to the water. That video posts Wednesday afternoon CST. As cheap as they were, I only need to rent them three times to recoup the money, so it is a low-risk endeavor. I think it could be really fun for families or people looking to be a little more active than lounging on the beach. Thank you for your comment.
That would be very funny if that's the case. I guess I'll find out Saturday. If they don't, I'll give them to a children's charity in the mountains or something. I'll keep you posted.
@@MetalDetectingMermaid I have an AT Gold and an AT Pro. The AT Gold does not work in the salt water. The Pro does. A difference in the coil frequencies I have been told and how they react to the salt water. A have a Fisher 1280X that works everywhere. Watching RUclips detector experiments is helping with my next detector choice.
@@beauregard1962 That's very interesting. Thank you. I love that there's so much to learn about this hobby. What detector are you most leaning towards for your next?
@@MetalDetectingMermaid The Minelab Manticore and Equinox are interesting. Also, the ATX is attractive to me because a person can compress it and back pack it. I hope to rent or borrow one of each at some point before I drop that dime. I took a bunch of items and made test targets . If I get to a dig and have trouble with adjustments or readings, sometimes I will place a test target ( ring, coin, etc. ) in the trouble area and then adjust which ever detector I am troubled with. That has been helpful with the learning curves.
@@beauregard1962 That's excellent advice. Thank you. I'll do some of that when I test this cheapie detector. Good luck with your decision and finding testers before you buy.
Admire your entrepreneurship, watching to see how you fare😎and see how it works😎
Good overview and good luck with it😊 See what happens😎
Thank you. I'll keep you all posted. I'm planning to give it a test tomorrow morning and will post that video midweek.

Good idea about renting them out

Love your channel!
Thank you TexasDonna. I appreciate you taking the time to visit and comment. Have a great day!
Might not work around salt water
