I really enjoy your videos. Currently I’m building my savings in Euros so I can go to Montenegro. But following your travels I’d also love to go to Romania and other European cities. Cheers from Canada. Martin
It always gets me excited every time I see you guys explore a new city and your take on the local lifestyle. I’ve heard of Bucharest so much but I think we will like Brasov more. Love how close your Airbnb to the main square. I think $63 for all that is a great buy. It’s similar to Tirana rate. It’s amazing how much value you get abroad isn’t it! I’m loving the cafe culture and outdoor scene. For $18 for two that’s not bad at all. As always, love your cute doggies ❤️
Thanks 😊 we are glad you’re enjoying the journey. We think the prices are pretty good, I think one thing we are realizing is we have started to forget what prices are like in the US. The Location of the Airbnb we’ve learned will make or break the experience, this one is ideal.😊
Great video, be sure to visit Sighișoara, Sibiu and Oradea, they are beautiful as well. Romania is a hidden beauty with incredible people and culture and so many amazing places. We spend every summer in Brasov and love it. Be sure to take a day trip to Sinaia and visit Peles Castle, or take the cable car to the top of the Bucegi mountains and hike to the Sphinx or Babele. And FYI the bread bowl is only served with Bean Soup usually (Ciorba Fasoile) and its excellent! Drum Bun!!!
Wow. That place looks amazing. I hope you do a residency video on Romania because you really got me thinking. Warren, requesting two bedrooms and no living room in your Airbnb was a diabolical trick. Poor Julie. No escape
Nice video. There is no doubt that Brasov is a beautiful city. The apartment seems expensive to me. Brasov is an expensive city however. I think your Air B and B owner is maximising his profit potential by turning his living room into another bedroom. Anyway I wish you all the best and hope you enjoy your stay. Subscribed.
Love the content. Be great to see you go back to turkey, see how much the prices go up, once holiday season kicks in. World also be good if you interviewed a dentist, for a range of prices.
Lovely to see this part of Romania.looks pretty . much better then Bukarest.thanks for a informative video. Please try a Romanian supermarket next time.just to know prices there.
Thanks, it’s really beautiful here. We did a supermarket in this video, Lidl market, there are other chains like Carrefour and Mega Image also. Is there one your recommending? Thanks
Just a hint. There is no need to leave tips at restaurants or anything else in Romania. If you want it or that's what your culture has taught you, sure. But it is something unusual in RO.
That looks pretty sweet and the prices work well for me. Curious, going from region to region how easy is it when paying for items in regards to the math? Does your bank card automatically break down the exchange so you don't have to use a calculator every time you go out and do anything? Also, if you are using currency/cash for that region do you need to calculate the breakdown to keep from being taken advantage of? Especially traveling from Country to Country it feels like that would be a little stressful unless it's automatically calculated to you primary banking system which I assume is already converted to that region.... (- No doubt people ponder if they travel wondering if they are getting taken or not given the correct change perhaps. Morning here in CA so I guess it's good evening in Dracula time....
We use an app called units plus for quick conversion. Our credit cards don’t have international conversion fees, and neither does our ATM. The hardest part is trying not to have a bunch of cash when leaving a country. Our ATM withdrawal is pretty much on the money if the local ATM isn’t charging a fee. We don’t like converting cash if we can help it, that’s when you lose value.
We’ll let you know in six weeks. It’s definitely a contender. 👍 we’ll also be spending 17 days after Brasov in a city called Sibiu which looks charming.
@@WarrenJulieTravel - Thanks for blazing the trail. After watching this episode, I checked out Brasov real estate online. It's amazing what you can get in the $100 - $150k range, some right in the center too.
The city is beautiful. I bet the park will look beautiful in a few weeks when the trees bloom and flower. Thanks guys for sharing your experiences.
It probably will, hopefully we’ll be here to see it. 😊
Julie and Warren, allow me to express my gratitude to you for highlighting my beautiful country. Enjoy and be safe. Love the fur babies!!
Thank you very much for those beautiful comments. We appreciate you watching.

We did make it to Sighisoara and Sibiu. Both were great places 😊
Mai veniti in Transilvania (Brașov) va iubesc! (un. vampir)♥️😲
If you have time it would be nice to also visit Sibiu and Sighisoara. Are similar to Brasov but each city has its own personality ☺️
Very nice there hope someday I'll go there look good and clean
We visited both and they are both charming 😊

Awesome. This looks like my kinda town. As for Julie’s antics, well, some guys have all the luck. 😁

Welcome to my hometown. There are many places to visit in the city and surroundings: Poiana Brasov, Bran, Zarnesti etc

warren and Julie, another good inforamative Vid, looks like the cost of living compares with the UK.

Brasov looks beautiful! How is the weather like? How are the winters? Good to see you guys! Enjoy your time there!
We have heard the winters are quite cold. We had snow in March and April.

You can get a nice apartment a lot cheaper. I got a new large one-bedroom with balcony for 400eur 2 weeks ago.
Congratulations. I hope you are enjoying it.
