  • I head over to the Four Peaks Wilderness area to do some camping. I also learn how to take star time-lapses and it turned out pretty awesome.

Was like Children of the Corn, having those cows mysteriously show up like that. A real treat this week. A simple thanks.

I know, right. So random to see those cows. Thanks!

Enjoyed the video. Nice job rebuilding the fire pit. The time lapse came out well. You can tell you thought it through.

Thanks, I'm glad I learned how to do time lapses. It's nice capturing the stars. I've improved upon them too. If you watch some other videos. You will notice they get better.

    Enjoyed your astronomical time lapse!
Btw: you could probably also get some really nice long-exposure wide-field still images of the milky way from the relatively dark locations you visit.
There are decent fairly inexpensive little clock-drive camera mounts available for light tripods. This allows the camera to move in-step with the earth rotation when you are taking a long-exposure still image of the night sky. Might be something you’d find interesting to consider.
Thanks again, for all of your sharing 😊

Thanks. I have a photography background, so I know all about the gismos and gadgets. Just like with everything else in my life, all with time. Glad you're enjoying everything.

Or just put a tarp and there you go. No having to pick anything up.

Yes. Although, I will use my phone if I have to zoom in.

The time lapse was good. I’ve never tried one. Trashy people are usually the ones that cause areas to be closed. A popular crab fishing area I like to visit was closed for that reason. And this was in an area with trash cans. Stupid people.

It's one of the things I will never understand. Trashing any places, because you just ruined it for others and yourself.
