I went to Israel on a pilgrimage in February 2019. The Bible became alive for me. It brought tears to my eyes to kiss the spot where Jesus was born in Bethlehem, following Jesus’ steps Via Dolorosa, and the moments I was inside at Jesus’ tomb at the Holy Sepulcher. Got to go underground too. Life changing.

I went to the holy land last year in October, and I got a chance to visit the “Tomb of Christ”. It was a phenomenal experience! I’d like to go back again 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I think those of religious history should be interested as it was built at the time of Emperor Constantine. His mother Helena probably erected this on top of a former pagan site 300 years after said event. Romans were big into erecting monuments to their gods and manufacturing myths about their history.

After years of dilapidation the tomb has been restored to it's glory. The actual structure has been cleaned, reinforced and made safe for visitors. If you can't see the real thing, it's great to see it on film.

Im not religious but after I saw the passion of Christ it was interesting how there was even a mueseum with all this stuff
First I thought they'll investigate it with modern technology and uninhabited mind that whether there is any tomb or any extra terrestial connection it had with it.

"Jesus wants us to worship the father" True. Also, places help us connect with history, imparts perspective. Jesus didn't need to go to Jerusalem at Passover to be crucified, but fulfilled prophesy by doing so. Historical places also bring people together which is a good thing. Jesus told us to go preach in Samaria which is right next door to the tomb.
Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, true God of true God. We worship the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit together as a Triune God, or as the Holy Trinity, which together is One. We venerate these holy and sacred places because of their significance to our faith.

I was in israel for almost 6 yrs as a contract worker. I'd been from north to south of israel. Many times in jerusalem and nazareth haifa galilee dead sea even in bethlehem every christmas and i visit the tomb of jesus christ. How can you convince me that the body of jesus is there?
