Book 6-10 were just 👌. Also 14 and the start of 15 would heal your wounds suffered by the hero party.

You guys wanna know something funny? This was my first isekai! I came back and re-watched the whole series after I had watched oteher isekai and now that I understand more of isekai let me say it makes more sense XD
the anime is simply stunning.
although it's not the best, don't get me wrong it was the most inspiring anime i've seen after last decade.

Honestly this show would have been a lot better if they focus on the spider like light novels did because the end of season basically skip over the entire adventure Lady white and Ariel had which is littlerally the best part of novels in my opinion
I think this was made intentionally in the anime, since the story focus on Kumoko and Shun at the same time. When the saison 2 will be out, there is no doubts that it will be the main focus of the saison, Kumoko side, with all the protagonist slowly introduce and develop.
Light novel had the humans too (and it was a pain to read), idk about the manga but the webnovel was the best version for me
Not really tho. Its more like a teaser time skip thing. Cuz after all those episodes we already know that spider side is in the past so im pretty sure its just a teaser to hopefully a season 2.

The start was realy good, but then we got heroes party and it fell real bad and end was absolute crap.
from one of the best ln stories to the very worst what a shame.
The anime was executed extremely poorly. From what I recall they had severe production problems and had to redo a bunch of stuff at the last moment since their subcontractors failed them. Truly a shame, the source material is probably the best isekai story I know of. Hopefully they manage to do good work on the now announced second season. Given that the source material changes to a more traditional storytelling style (no more constant jumps between groups and timeskips) and there's a bunch of extremely good bits of story coming up it MIGHT be a redemption arc for the anime adaption team, but we'll see...
