But giving him strong magic, even if it's not able to be used often, on top of that, is just bad writing. Author gave him a clever solution for surviving in a magical world with little magic, but then said "nah, he gets strong magic too, just not a lot of it" and then it only gets used in moments where not a lot of magic is needed, making the issue of not having much magic irrelevant. The only redeeming part of the mc is his backstory.

The novel is soon finished, Has over 20 chapters. Absolutely my favourite novel ever.
