I had a DW kick drum that I wanted to shorten about 4 inches-sent it to Jim-the mod was done in no time with a beautiful bearing edge-improved the sound immensely-(more punch-not as boomy)-the work was done quickly and the cost was extremely reasonable-I highly recommend Chicago Drum Co!
All my years playing drums, I've played old (vintage) stuff exclusively, mainly because the stuff was cheap. It's cool to see drummers looking for that unique sound today.
great drums sound like slingerand kits did yrs ago when slingerlands only compatition was ludwig killer well made by hand drums at a decent price cant go wrong

So, what’s the future for this and Stone Custom when DW starts back up Slingerland Production? Will they own the hardware designs/patents/etc?
Anyone know where I could find information/value of the XM52 kit?
