I have a 2018 Polaris rzr RS1 and I absolutely love it. The power is crazy fun and after going from a Polaris Ace 570 to a 1000cc unit a lot changes. (Love the videos keep it up)
Rs1 Review is spot on, Way to go polaris! Agreed on the few issues, shifter ect. The cockpit feels roomier than my xp1000. Also you could buy 2 rs1's for the price of 1 turbo s.
Yep, they left that important info out of the review. Even has the clutch setup from a turbo, heavier duty connecting rods, turbo rear axles, and lot of other beefier parts compared to a regular XP1000.
Jorge Aboytes I agree and show how we can do it for less than buying the new machines. I know a lot of people that live to ride and see these awesome new quads and SXSs and would love to get one but can't afford them show us how to up grade our older machines on a budget
Side by sides are fairly new machine they are going to keep evolving... but I hear you it's rough I had an old school razor 800 and I bought a yxz and now I need a new machine already
Dan Matz it's sad to know that we spend a ton of money to buy a machine that is up to date and pretty much all we are needing and in 2-3 years it's out dated just like computers do.
I have a question about your winch install. How did you get the winch cable fully retracted with the auto stop feature? When you reeled the cable in, the rubber bumper stopped an inch or so short which causes a flopping hook. Later in the same segment, the rubber bumper appears to be tight to the fairlead. How did you do that? That's my biggest gripe with the system making me want to tear that feature off and throw it into the trash. Seems while it may be good for plowing, that's about all it is useful for unless you don't mind your hook banging off the front of the machine as you cruise down a trail.
A winch pulling a full size pickup truck up a 15 degree incline is one thing. If the winch is truly rated at 6000 lb, shouldn't it be able to pick up (vertically) a 6000 lb vehicle off the ground?
I really wish Polaris hadn't started to BS their suspension numbers. This machine does not have 21" of travel like they say. It's the same 16/18 F/R that the XP platform has had all along. They are now measuring from the bottom of the tire at full droop to the bottom of the skid plate. It's not an accurate measurement of wheel travel like everyone has always used. I understand why they did it to point out the silliness going on with the X3, but it really is misleading and dishonest.
You should have a comparison with the RS1 and a Honda Pilot 400 (2 stroke)....from the late 80’s (if you can find one) Old vs new....Maybe the Pilot was ahead of its time...
Ultimate mud grizzly is laughable a real mudder dont need some stupid over fenders. Try new tires, clutch kit, snorkles, and rad relocate otherwise it's just a trail machine.

My RS1 has brought peace to my life.
Way to go Argo, you´ve brought your product firmly into the 20th century!🤣

I love this show, I really do. The trips, the family, and reviews. But often, it just comes across that they're just reading sales brochures.
Solution for the rs1 doors is the Double Ott upper door panels , tinted see through polycarbonate and they work great and can still see the tires 👍
Id like to see it fully enclosed
The rs1 also brings with it the new stronger front dif and beefed up suspension components from the turbo s. Thats impressive.

That RS1 is wicked
Take an older rzr and make it competitive with the new ones showing us that we don’t need to keep upgrading machines to stay on top lol

It seems like they're going to keep going until they are trophy trucks

Lol you all understand where I’m coming from
If the “new” argo does 40mph, shouldn’t it have a roll cage?
I couldn't tell you the amount of times we put our old argo on its cage. There pretty much a must even on the old ones.
But the steering on the old ones could have been why they flip so easily
Love how they say 6k pulling on polaris winch and is pulling a half ton chevy. But its a chevy so of course it needs a tow
Hayes is awesome, I still use them on a DH mountain bike.
You know what else would be a great upgrade for that grizzly a 1k motor come on yamaha
I love the video
I seen people put see thru door panels to block off that opening of the door
Argo 8x8 with independent suspension on each axle!
Lol was that a new grizzly? Why were the headlights full of water 🤣
Tomax XXX i see this too 😂😂
Yamaha needs to put the flipping 850 twin in the grizzly
If the RS1 had a turbo, I'd buy it right now
IF you drive it you may buy one anyhow.
Dude.. With eyes closed , you sound 100% like Josh from Expedition Unknown lol it's uncanny

My yamaha wolverine r-spec with a 4K winch can’t pull my truck, it will only pull it towards the truck with brakes locked up
rocky66 that’s what it’s made for to pull you out not pull other stuff
At 3:20 you can see the winch on the Argo flopping up and down ? How long will that last ?
DT is cool
Thanks! We like to think so.

Did that new grizz have water in the headlights???!! 😂
Thats sold separately ...
No it's just how the led headlights look.
with low beam only half the light, lights up. high beam the whole light turns on. just the way yamaha made it
@@Mega4kids oh ok. Just looked water logged to me. Good to know though.
Damn you Dirt Trax, I bought the Sportsman XP1000 because of you, now I'm gotta get the RS1.. Get outta my head! And my wallet!
Warn top
yamaha doesnt make the skid guards... they farm them out... they are made in Brantford Ont though...
They are already selling clear and tinted door inserts for the RS1 to fill that void.
2019 argo
What about Argo?
I got the same rims
How about a rear view mirror? LOL
Does an ATV have a roll cage? WTF
My new yamaha is a pos
