I also read on the forum using soft hose quiets it down a bit. The white hose that came with the kit does look soft. The problem with the Pex is it’s so hard and doesn’t expand causing the water hammer. Thanks for the video!! I should probably do this before the end of hibernation.
Thanks for telling me about the suggestion on the forum! I think it would still hammer a bit without the accumulator and we're really glad we installed it!
yes... 13mm irrigation piping is quite a wonderful material in that regards, just do not make the mistake of using the plastic clamps on any interior fitting, only the stainless steel clips or scre-tightened clamps on your connectors
Thanks for this one. I had seen another guy on RUclips installed a 2 gal residential tank in his Escape 19 and that seemed a little overkill to me. I’ll look into this one and see if I can figure out a good place to put it in an E19.
Hadn't seen one of those before. Good to know. Wondering if you could attach it to the bottom side of the bench, beside the wire bundle. Hard to get in there to do it but if you could, it would be out of the way. Thank you for the video.
An accumulator! I hate that noise and vibration. I'm on my way to the store! Ok, actually I'm on my way online to Amazon ... $42! Thank you. I owe you for professional mechanic advice.
Just a quick question or two….this sounds like a great feature, is that similar to an expansion tank? Also I noticed where the water pipes go to the outside the wall seems to be only fiberglass letting the light from outside to be visible through the fiberglass layers…..is that a spot that should have insulation to keep temperatures more level? Am I overthinking things?
Hi John! Thanks so much for watching all our videos and commenting! Your name has popped up a lot!! It is similar to an expansion tank. It would be nice to have more insulation in that spot but we keep the bench open if we're camping in really cold weather overnight. Haven't had a problem yet!
Since you installed this a while back, just wondering if you are still happy with it or if there was any issues with it since the instal. Does it change the winterization process?
I hate that loud vibration!! Everybody knows when you use water/shower/toilet etc! Got a new pump, it was quiet at first, now its getting louder and louder!
Nice editing, appreciate the tire pump info was not aware.
Nice video showing how easy it is to install. Keep 'em coming. Thanks
Thanks for watching and glad it helped!! We're very glad we installed it!
Thanks for the how to videos, I’m learning a lot.
Thanks!!
You make the installation look easy. I wish the unit was a little smaller, but it sounds like it does the job.
It's very easy David!!
Thank you!
great install video, thanks for sharing!
Good job, thanks
Looks like a good idea
I'm so glad we did this!

Thanks for watching! It's possible to install it there I'm sure!

We'll take that payment in wine or beer LOL!
What happens if you put too much pressure in the accumulator tank?

We are still super happy with it!! No issues with installing it and it does not change the winterization process at all.
You did not have to pressurize the accumulator?
The link isn't working 😔
Hopefully it is now, thanks for letting us know!

30 psi is sounds high for domestic water..
The instructions say 20 to 40 psi so I think we're good
👍👌❤🇨🇦
Thanks for this. This happens in my tiny cabin. I'm trying to order through you're link but it doesn't work
