- Our baby Meyer's parrot, Lemon, LOVES his daddy, and we wanted to film him getting some pets from his dad. Instead, we caught Lemon head bobbing for his dad for the VERY first time, it was so special! Head bobbing in parrots, especially baby parrots, represents trust and acceptance of a caregiver as a real parent - it mimics receiving regurgitated food from mommy/daddy birds. We love this guy to pieces!! Hope you enjoy this video!
