That's something that as Carat I've been learning by watching all variety shows they've attended and their own shows as well as different vlogs and the fandom itself. Many of them have been street casted without going through an audition first, some wanted to get into the industry while others didn't know what they wanted to do in their future and decided to give it a try. All these things you learn little by little if you get into the fandom and you're interested in getting to know Seventeen deeper but there are no specific guides explaining this
It is Mingyu's voice but there's always autotune in this kind of pre-recorded live performances. It's not 100% their raw live vocals, but it's not a bad thing at all, literally everyone does that for their pre-recorded videos just to give a better-quality sound to the videos

The fact that apart from changing the vocal sound there's not even the slightest background vocals can give me a hint that there's no pre-recording involved. I don't know if I'm making any sense. I know when an artist is singing with a pre-recording or not because of that reason and many artists change the vocal sounds of the original songs to prove their live performances. Please correct me if I'm wrong
@@leeann7291it's not "autotune" at all, there's only a very mild filter on the mic settings here to make the audio sound smoother overall and less raw (think concert audio). this does not change how their voices sound 👍🏻 not sure why so-called carats keep trying to downplay their vocal ability 8 years into their career 😵💫
@@Universe_Factory_ShiningGem no that’s not what i meant by pre-recorded live performances. what i meant is they sang this live, but the audio was recorded seperately so they can fix it later on. the same goes to their special videos like “All My Love”, “April Shower” or stuff like that. they still sing it live of course, they won’t add much otherwise it wouldn’t be a live performance anymore. they mostly adjust the volumn to make all of their voices sound even, or fix the tunes if there are some off-tune notes, minimize the noise, the breathing sounds (cause it’s almost impossible to sound that cleaned singing directly into a mic without any noise cancellation). but yeah they still have to do a good job singing it live in the first place.

And at that time (not sure how it is now) they were living in 2 different apartments, so even at home after work they don't all see each other. He as the leader wanted the company to make that one day every month for them to go somewhere all together, to eat and talk. That would be their "schedule". Of course they can probably figure it out by themselves, plan some evening once in a while, when all 13 members are free at the same time after finishing work for the day, but it would be so much harder than going to the company and be like "don't plan anything for that one day, we're going to hang out together". guys if you like the documentary series SEVENTEEN have HIT THE ROAD, where each of the members talk about themselves(childhood, feelings, behind the scenes of their concerts) and you can also watch their pre debut project show where they are still minors and talk about how they build their team thru challenges- 17 Project and Like17
I think its more of experiencing different things while being actively participating in a music album. Yes they produce their own songs. About racism, its everywhere and in every country. Recently BTS was invited to White House to address anti asian crimes happening in US and how it is affecting the asians leaving outside of korean adjusting and understanding different culture other than their culture.
Agree! Ahhh that clip of vernon always gets to me. Im sure the racism is less bad now for kids in the US as more asian culture becomes more accepted in the west, but I definitely remember feeling the way vernon did in the US unfortunately. so glad he decided to speak up about it at such a young age, because now we can look back and reflect
First of all thank you for reacting to my ult group! I ended up subscribing to your channel because of your Seventeen reactions! It's a shame the next parts are on Patreon because I can't afford it right now. Oh well. Maybe later.
Thank you for subscribing to our channel. We appreciate your support 👍 Yes we know a lot of people are bummed out about the other videos being posted on Patreon but we owe it to our Patreon members that pay us each month to give them exclusive content that can not be seen anywhere else. It’s through their memberships that we can keep this channel going. Hope you still enjoy all the other amazing content we offer for free on our RUclips channel. Have a great day 👍😊👍😊
58:33 I would highly recommend 17 project (which was their debut project) it will give you a sneak peak at their pre dubut era. 'Hit the road' is also a docu on SVT which is very watch worthy
42:52 yes they do a lot of things on their own that's why they're called self produced idols but i don't think it's actually to save money (maybe in the past during rookie days but they're part of Hybe now one of the biggest entertainment company in Korea but they still do almost everything themselves) i think it's more of because they actually love what they do
I love your reactions. It is so natural and I love how attentive you guys are with what you are watching. Cant wait for you to dive into svt's performance and vocal unit ♥
That one will come out next week on Wednesday on our patreon. The 4th one will come out in two weeks on patreon. We are giving 7 days for free here-- www.patreon.com/DANDJREACT
I am very grateful for the reaction. 😭 I know a lot of them, but I swear that everyone is very talented and gradually you understand their value in the group. Without lying, they saved the Pledis company. 👀 I can recommend 17 PROJECT (it's very emotional for me, they are very young here and try to prove that they are worth a debut), HIT THE ROAD (shows moments of difficulties, their hard work during the "Ode To You" tour) and GOING SEVENTEEN (this show is for relaxation with a variety of content, it is very popular). ☺️ P.S. At 17 PROJECT, they are fighting to get their rings back. In the end, they did it and there was a presentation of rings from their parents. Members wear rings on a regular basis and they often talk about each other as a family. When someone lost a ring, he bought it himself with his own money. Sorry for my mistakes, I don't speak English. Greetings from Latvia 🤍🖐️
You must watch seventeen in the green melona room clips because that's the time when they are still trainees and are very young and their reality show 17 PROJECT because it shows their journey before debuting. I enjoyed your reactions and will be waiting for the next ones.
Have you guys reacted to Seventeen Game Caterers? I would recommend that one. You will enjoy it for sure. Their variety show skills is so good. They are so fun to watch!
please react to more seventeen! they're a very nice group to stan esp when you're just getting into kpop (imo ofc) they never miss discography-wise, performance, variety, that i guarantee you!
@@yotkaaa173 yes we mentioned that at the end of the video. We’re posting the last two videos on Patreon. You can get a 7-Day Free Trial to check it out here: www.Patreon.com/DandJReact
Hi I posted this on Patreon and watched the remaining two videos but in case you don’t see it I wanted to mention it here. Also, if anyone who can’t afford to pay on Patreon wants to chime in or add on, they can! This is based on the last two videos posted to Patreon just to be clear! I mean this respectfully, no hate at all, but I think the biggest disconnect in your content is that you say you’re very open to learning about the culture and history around kpop and that you’re open minded, yet every video you reiterate that you find their culture weird. “You don’t want to see all of this weird stuff”, their fan service is weird, their make up and pink clothes are weird, you don’t like that they play games or collect stuffed animals as grown men, their skin ship is weird. It’s understandable that you don’t enjoy that content, but there is a difference between saying it’s just not for you and moving on, versus spending entire videos rolling your eyes, huffing about how you’re struggling to get through it, everything is weird-that’s why you come across rude. At this point, it’s like pulling teeth with how painful it is to watch and seeing the video come out is not even worth it anymore. Even if you got through it just because you promised to, the actual quality of the video is bad because we can see you’re so uninterested, and you don’t like the culture they have. You can respectfully acknowledge that while their culture is normal, it’s not something you resonate with but instead you call it weird and just hash out continuously how much it bothers you to see, how much you dislike it, how it’s weird and they should act differently cuz they’re grown men. It comes off as ignorant and disrespectful; at that point just don’t post the video and react to things you genuinely like because this isn’t what people prefer to see when they recommend something. If you choose to keep up with Seventeen, they have a whole variety in their discography you might like better. It’s unfortunate that you heard mostly soft songs, but the whole hip hop unit has upbeat raps, and harder sounds. Songs like Hot (which you’ve seen), Clap, Bring It, Change Up, March, Don Quixote, Fire, Rock With You, Left and Right, Fear, Trauma, Very Nice, and so many more might suit your interest better. They like to play around with genres and put out songs so that people with all kinds of music tastes can find something they like, not just one demographic. It’s fine not to like everything (that’s not always realistic) and you certainly don’t have to like the guides or cater to everyone’s whim, it’s your channel, but maybe just keep in mind the things that you say and how you say them because being rude or sarcastic is unnecessary and people have the right to call those kinds of things out. There are lots of older fans and fans of hip hop and rock who react to them and remain completely respectful and keep their comments positive and considerate of their culture, and their videos are enjoyable to watch even if they don’t like the songs or content. We all want to be supportive of the channel and help you guys grow and be a part of your kpop journey; so I hope you don’t just dismiss our comments and really take what we say into consideration. Thank you for taking the time to react to them and all of the groups you’ve done so far.
So this video of Seventeen was poorly produced in our opinion. We like the band and their music what we did not like was this video about the band. We like documentary style guides about each band. We want to actually learn about the band, the members and history of the band. This was more like short TikTok collages of various funny scenes. Nothing wrong with that if that’s what you like. It just wasn’t our style of learning about a new band. I honestly don’t remember us saying anything negative about the Asian culture in our videos. Not sure where you came up with that statement? We are actually enjoying learning about the culture and the language so much we created a new video series starting in September called “BTS Teaches Two Rock Fans how to Speak Korean”. We’re actually trying to learn the language and culture. We even plan to move to Thailand the end of 2024. So, I apologize if you misunderstood our comment and videos but I hope you give us another chance and realize we have nothing but the highest respect for the Asian people, culture and their language.
@@TripTipsPodcast it’s not Asian culture you made comments about, it’s about kpop idols specifically. When clips of them came up wearing pink clothes, collecting plushies, playing games on their variety show, any aegyo, you called it weird and said that’s stuff you don’t want to see. And that’s valid, you don’t have to like it, I’m just saying you could’ve said it a lot better. It can be hard to find guides that suit specific tastes especially when they’re fan made so hopefully a better one does come along for you to enjoy more. I just believe that even if you don’t like the content, or the slow soft songs, you can still be positive about it and just say you prefer something else without nagging on it or acting like you’re being put through the worst thing in your life. It’s so nice to see you guys laughing and happy and enjoying the songs or videos you react to, so it was hard to see the complete opposite of just forcing yourself to watch when you were not interested at all and just hearing your comments that the clips were weird and you’re struggling to get through it. I hope that clarifies it better? And I hope you do find videos that you genuinely enjoy to react to
@@Aliriv829 We apologize for our content offending you. We’ll be more cautious of our language and tone in future videos as to not offend anyone. Thanks for your comment and support 😊💜😊💜

For the kid vernon clip: Im korean(more like half. My dad is russian but nationally wise, im korean), mix kids got bullied a lot before, back in the days. Nowadays, kids are more understanding. It doesnt matter if you're half white or black or any other race, they will bully you. Or if you look a whole lot different than 'normal', you're a target. I was picked on quite a lot, even by adults because not only Im mix, I'm also an albino. It hurts growing up there, i got adults and kids calling me ghost/monster/etc because of my appearance, so my family kinda moved countries a lot for me. Japan is a whole lot tamer since there are a lot of mix kids there, but korea was brutal for me. Thankfully, with the new generation, things have gotten better.
Please react to another guide the performance and vocal unit also, and another seventeen video like mv or dance practice its really good, and killing voice is one of video you can watch to knowing seventeen vocal more
Yeahhh I agree that this guide would definitely be better if it were more documentary focused, to be fair it is completely fan made. just kinda seems more directed towards the 'stan' type of audience if that makes sense. Its pretty good regardless though, I think theres more info about some members more than others in terms of what they did when they were younger (probably because of the whole street casting thing i think someone else wrote about in another comment). Seventeen is a great group though, hope you enjoy the rest:)

May i suggest if you're going to have exclusive content on your patreon (which is totally fine and kinda the point of patreon) you try not to split a 'series' of videos between yt and patreon. I know its a way to entice people to join your patreon but it can feel like a slap for those who can't afford to join when a series is started on yt and then switched to patreon and it's really disappointing. I questioned if i even wanted to watch this vid since i cant spare the money for patreon (i know you have the free week but im considering long term with other 'series' vids you might do, not just this guide) Some creators will exclusively watch the kpop group shows, guides and/or blocked yt vids on their patreons and just advertise that in their yt vids of mv reactions Idk, ultimately this is only a suggestion, you need to do what you need to do and i'll probably get hate for this comment

Excited to drop all 21 of them
I think its more of experiencing different things while being actively participating in a music album. Yes they produce their own songs.
About racism, its everywhere and in every country. Recently BTS was invited to White House to address anti asian crimes happening in US and how it is affecting the asians leaving outside of korean adjusting and understanding different culture other than their culture.
Great! thanks for letting us know.

We appreciate your support 👍
Yes we know a lot of people are bummed out about the other videos being posted on Patreon but we owe it to our Patreon members that pay us each month to give them exclusive content that can not be seen anywhere else. It’s through their memberships that we can keep this channel going.
Hope you still enjoy all the other amazing content we offer for free on our RUclips channel.
Have a great day 👍😊👍😊

You’re welcome
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
58:33 I would highly recommend 17 project (which was their debut project) it will give you a sneak peak at their pre dubut era. 'Hit the road' is also a docu on SVT which is very watch worthy

dang the next parts are on patreon...waited so long and now I gotta pay 😭😭love yalls reactions tho!
rightt 😭😭😭
Thanks for watching we appreciate you all❤️❤️❤️
42:52 yes they do a lot of things on their own that's why they're called self produced idols but i don't think it's actually to save money (maybe in the past during rookie days but they're part of Hybe now one of the biggest entertainment company in Korea but they still do almost everything themselves) i think it's more of because they actually love what they do
That makes sense.
I love your reactions. It is so natural and I love how attentive you guys are with what you are watching. Cant wait for you to dive into svt's performance and vocal unit ♥
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed 😊

@@TripTipsPodcast omg thank you so much! 💙💎
I am very grateful for the reaction. 😭 I know a lot of them, but I swear that everyone is very talented and gradually you understand their value in the group. Without lying, they saved the Pledis company. 👀
I can recommend 17 PROJECT (it's very emotional for me, they are very young here and try to prove that they are worth a debut), HIT THE ROAD (shows moments of difficulties, their hard work during the "Ode To You" tour) and GOING SEVENTEEN (this show is for relaxation with a variety of content, it is very popular). ☺️
Thanks for your comments and your suggestions. We’ll check them out.
You must watch seventeen in the green melona room clips because that's the time when they are still trainees and are very young and their reality show 17 PROJECT because it shows their journey before debuting. I enjoyed your reactions and will be waiting for the next ones.
Thanks 😊
We’ll check them out 👍
Have you guys reacted to Seventeen Game Caterers? I would recommend that one. You will enjoy it for sure. Their variety show skills is so good. They are so fun to watch!
Not yet! Added. Thanks!

Hip-hop unit introverted members : Scoups Wonwoo Vernon . Mingyu Extrovert

Glad to hear it’s gotten better for you. That must have been a really hard time in your life.
For a more documented one, o think "hit the road" and "seventeen project" will do.
Ok great thank you🙏🔥
Vernon was just talking about a show he watched :) it’s not what Korean’s actually believe about Santa.
Got it thanks

Ok will do👍
hi! when is the next part going to be posted on patreon?
looking forward to super mv reaction thanks!
Next week.
Thanks 😊
LOVE ME AGAIN MV BY V OUT ON AUG 10, 12 AM KST
Thanks we’ll check it out

May i suggest if you're going to have exclusive content on your patreon (which is totally fine and kinda the point of patreon) you try not to split a 'series' of videos between yt and patreon.
I know its a way to entice people to join your patreon but it can feel like a slap for those who can't afford to join when a series is started on yt and then switched to patreon and it's really disappointing.
I questioned if i even wanted to watch this vid since i cant spare the money for patreon (i know you have the free week but im considering long term with other 'series' vids you might do, not just this guide)
Some creators will exclusively watch the kpop group shows, guides and/or blocked yt vids on their patreons and just advertise that in their yt vids of mv reactions
Idk, ultimately this is only a suggestion, you need to do what you need to do and i'll probably get hate for this comment
We totally understand. Patreon is still new to us and we’re figuring it out as we go. Thanks for your suggestions and feedback.
