As a native Canadian with an Aussie heart, I want to thank you from the bottom of said heart for doing everything you did to help save our beautiful lands. It was devastating to watch, hear, and smell every burning down here, and now I know all too well the heart wrenching pain Australia went through during the Black Summer of 2019-2020.

Some of the footage is unbelievable... when you see a raging wild fire that is kilometers long, there is no way to put it out directly. Creating wide Fire Breaks far ahead of the front and maybe aerial tankers to hold the fire break. Let it burn it's self out. The one scene with raging fire to front of pickup and fire raging in rear-view mirror is scary.
One thing for sure... the mates from NSW has lots of experience fighting wild fires.

and yet we have even more storms on the way, one wildfire in bc is the size of all the land that burned last year in bc. just..... so much damage, so much to try and fight a fire that isn't reachable in the first place.
