Just call me George: Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports visits Rye

It was a privilege to photograph the Lord Warden of The Cinque Ports, Admiral Sir George Zambellas, GCB, DSC, ADC, DL and his wife Lady Zambellas, when they visited the Ancient Town of Rye, today. The day began with a 'Welcome Cry' from Paul Goring, Town Crier, a tour of the Town Hall with Andy Stuart, Mayor of Rye, Niki Stuart and Rebekah Gilbert, , a visit to the tower of St Mary's, with Paul White and Colonel Anthony Kimber, a guided walk to learn some of the history led by Paul Edward Goring , a visit to to see the Rye Heritage Centre with Simon Parsons and Chris Hoggart and a wonderful afternoon tea at the The Mermaid Inn Rye all masterminded by Rye Town Council, Richard Farhall and Jessica Neame
