There is no special rules, you can do it like on any other mesh but to make it easier and faster I would probably do the UV before all the array process, I mean at least before to convert the arraymesh as mesh.
I have probably used the Select Rectangle brush "CTRL+Shift" and click on the polygroup applied on the flower itself since the little face has a different one.
Hi Samir, actually since there are already tons of tutorials covering usual functions in ZBrush I prefer to orient mine on unknown or unusual stuff. Maybe one day :)
Love how simple and straight forward explanation in 5 min.
Thanks for the video sir! Exactly what I needed
Great tutorial man! I love that little trick you did with extruding the face to sort of trick the offset. :-)

this sounded a lot harder in my head
Question, how do you make UV after?
There is no special rules, you can do it like on any other mesh but to make it easier and faster I would probably do the UV before all the array process, I mean at least before to convert the arraymesh as mesh.
The end how did you isolate your flower from those little faces you made?
I have probably used the Select Rectangle brush "CTRL+Shift" and click on the polygroup applied on the flower itself since the little face has a different one.
@@maximeforveille4663 Thank you for replying, so Mesh array atomatically group the petal copies into a polygroup?
@@lindsaywang4413 nope it doesn't but when I duplicate and detach the face with the Qmesh option it does changed the polygroup of this face

Hi Samir, actually since there are already tons of tutorials covering usual functions in ZBrush I prefer to orient mine on unknown or unusual stuff.
Maybe one day :)

Sorry but I didn't keep it. Pretty easy to do though and that the goal of this video actually.
