I like the soda bottle lid hack for helping to keep your bread fresh, but an even easier & cheaper solution is... just expel the extra air in your bread bag, twist the top several times close to the bread, then open the ends (just like you did after soda bottle neck was added) and fold the extra plastic bag back over the loaf of bread. The twisting you did first closes the opening & no air can get to the bread. No extra supplies needed. 😊

Be extremely careful if you have cats using essential oils in your house!! I almost made this mistake but luckily my daughter works at a Vets office and warned me before it was too late. Some of the essential oils are toxic to cats and also are too strong smelling and can cause them to have breathing difficulties. I know you had no idea Kelly!! I just recently found this out myself!! Aluminum foil is also good for celery too. Just clean it dry it and cut it into sticks. I discovered a hack yesterday cleaning my toilet. I couldn't get into all the little grooves and things in the hinges of the toilet seat, then I remembered that shaving cream is made with alcohol so it would kill germs. So I squirted some of that in the hinges, scrubbed it off with a small brush and wiped it off with a damp towel. Nice and clean!

Love your cool hacks. I use the 8 inch vases for my ice tea drink. the mason jar coozies fit well. Also, I buy a bag of lemons and to keep them from going bad, I put them in a container filled with water in the fridge. I have a lemon juicer that has the lid that screws onto a jar. This way I have squeezed lemon juice for my tea.

You can also use the attachment thing from Miracle Grow that you use to mix it with the hose water to water plants to put soap in for washing your car!!
Another bathroom hack is if you have a toilet brush holder, place some water with your favorite toilet bowl cleaner. The brush will smell good and the toiletbrush can become disinfected if using that type of cleaner.
when we were getting all that rain here in cali, i live in the desert and my cars caked with dust at any given time so i put dawn on my car and let the rain wash it down. but i like the hose trick too.

Save your bread clips. They are great for little scrapers if you get something on your counter like jam or even hot glue scrap it off. Does not damage the counter. Throw it away after. Blessings Kathy and Family 🌹♥️🙏🙏😂

I’ve found that a head of iceberg lettuce stays fresh longer if you remove the core. Bang the head of lettuce on the counter, core side down, and it will come right out.
With the bread, that's a long way around to getting the bread. You have to unscrew the bottle cap then take off the plastic part and then get your bread and then put the bag back through the plastic part and put on the bottle cap. A simpler way would be just a twist the bag and then fold it over the bread and there you go that is so much simpler

lavender can be used and that’s about it…no eucalyptus, tea tree oil, rosemary…toxic to kitties

Not only are essential oils bad for cats but also for dogs. Also remember a dog's nose is more sensitive than humans.
That is why I stopped using them at home.
They can affect dogs as well.
