You will see similarities between the scenes and the characters throughout the novel. Plus the fact that Yang Yang played the male lead character in both drama adaptation. Gu Man must really like him.
It’s like when the book says that the ML and FL are really good looking and then it gets adapted to a drama, seeing Yang Yang and Dilraba will make you say yes, it is really how you picture the leads to be.
At first I thought think this would be similar to Love O2O as everyone mentioned, but just from this short vid. I can tell it might really be better. I haven’t seen this drama, but now I want to. The chemistry between the characters is way more natural and chill. 👏
As much as I love Love020, You are my Glory shows us what a mature and unproblematic relationship can be. Anyways, both cdrama is great but I prefer more YAMG 😊

I'm at loss at what my favorite pairing with Dilraba is, she has such beautiful sweet chemistry with Yang Yang, playful, sweet, heartbreaking, emotional chemistry with Veng Gao in Eternal love of dream, a different kinda of relationship and romance with Vin Zhang in King's Woman and Flame's Daughter, and a totally different relationship with Leo Wu in Long Ballad, even her pairing with Allen Dang in Sweet Dreams was good.....you Are my glory and eternal love of dream must take the crown at this rate

Alright like probably everyone here Yang Yang + Basketball will always ALWAYS remind me of LoveO2O which I absolutely adore for the leads' sweet and no-conflict relationship but this scene's pretty iconic on its own too. Before You Are My Glory, LoveO2O was like my favourite cdrama bec how much the leads trusted each other and it was nice to see a drama with no misunderstandings for once....but definitely now You Are My Glory has taken the Crown without a doubt and I cannot stress how happy Yu Tu and Jing Jing's sweet happy non problematic extremely healthy relationship makes me feel. Love this show and love to see it get appreciated bec it shows that healthy relationships and storylines are very interesting and fun there don't need to be unnecessary conflicts and misunderstandings to make a gripping drama. [ Also just imagine how excited and happy I was when I realized both of these dramas were written by the one and only Gu Man!!!!]
