For an open beta demo I enjoy how much content there is in this game. It was hard to get used to the new mechanics but playing it I got used and started getting better at tension duels, passing and how goals work Only complaint is that switching characters feels clunky
Oh ye, i agree that switching players is kinda clunky. The other thing i personaly dont like as it is rn is the breach mechanic. Just dont like that it can randomly ignore a huge difference in the shot power vs keeper power and completely breao your keeper gage. Imo it would have been fine if a shot can randomly breach, but it has to be only 10% or 20% below the keeper power. (Luckily breaches off that level dont happen often, but they do happen) But overall the beta is fun, agree on yhat too
Definitely if they add local multiplayer that’ll keep a lot of players who might just quit after beating the story coming back to play with there friends
If they add local multiplayer, they should add a new camera angle at the side of the pitch, cuz with this camera angle, one player will clearly have an advantage.
I think the problem with Breach is that it garanthees a goal... I think it would be better if it just increases the power of the shot (by 25/50%). So even if you get a crit with a weak shot and the opponent's keeper DF power is much greater than yours, you still lose
I totaly agree. I dont rly feel good when i get the breach and it feels bad if it happens against you, especialy if your keeper has a waaaaay higher defense stat
100% agreed. I think rng is fine if it doesn't decide everything, so yeah just turn the "breach" into the classic "critical" mechanic. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I think the breach is one of the few things I genuenly hate about the demo lol. Tbf it's just a beta and they did an amazing job with everything, but there were a couple things that gave me some worries
Positives - it’s a lot of fun, controls are fun and I love the new systems, tension is great - grinding for materials doesn’t seem too bad as you get a lot more in PvP and higher difficulty matches - the hissatsu look great and i like the new names other than illusiory ball - good challenge against alius - I love the gallery, the art is great and we get to see concept art of characters yet to be revealed - special tactics are more complicated but aren’t able to be spammed like box lock or offside trap, which is great - match time is great Negatives - breach is an awful system, rng to get a guaranteed goal should not exist - lag. Even against some people in the U.K. I sometimes struggle to have a stable match. And playing against Japanese players sucks - disconnecting if you’re losing a match has no consequences other than you don’t get any items. - some movesets suck, Asuto having no shining bird, no flame dance for Erik etc - we have 2 Ares moves and that’s it. Royal lancer and flash dash. Whilst great moves it’s still only 2 and is just made worse by the decision of having no ares versions of moves - wish PVE matches have better exp as I want to be able to make decent progress whilst on the train 8/10 for a demo with arguably little content it’s a lot of fun
We should ask for a tournament standard mode in feedback, a mode where all character levels and rarities are equalized so it’s purely skill/team comp-based. Kinda like how Clash Royale has both ladder and tournament modes, where the latter standardizes card levels.
as far as the focus battles, You can tel who has the balls by the color of the hands, if they are blue, the opponent has the ball. if they are orange, you have the ball
I think the ideal implementation of Spirits is as identical to special moves. So the one with a shooting move simply become a shooting move themselves, etc. As for armor, though luck it's out.
I would say they could have it be a separate bar from TP that you build up by doing something. Once that bar is full you can activate a fighting spirit on a player and that bar drains the more that player does things (even if it isn't using that fighting spirit's unique move). Once the bar is 0 that individual player can't activate it again and should the bar fill again you would need to use it on a different player. Using armour would allow that player to not drain the TP of their team when using moves, but the spirit bar drains quicker in armour form and/or alternatively their special move cooldowns are longer.
I think multiplayer matches should be level-equalised (like, everyone is pulled up to the max level or the exact half way point, like they do in pokemon).
I've said it before and I'll say it again: in this game midfielder's enchance the offense defense, they're very versatile. Just use your Aphrodi as an offensive midfielder and take advantage of opportunities to expand your offense into a 4 top while in the zone. Use Arion as a defensive midfielder and push him back, forcing a forward into a focus battleand reinforcing your defense.
There's also that using a special move block/dribbles in a row give a buff that increases your next shot and decreases the Tension used for it if it's a Special move shot.
same i wish victory stars were avaliable on bot matches but have them rare 1 every 1-2 matches, with the character bonuses boosting it to 1 every match it'd still insentivize online cuz they get 1 per loss, 2 per draw and 4 per win
Something they could do to “nerf” long passes is to increase the bond system, so if you want a more powerful shot you need to pass through the midfield, not sure how that would work though
@@conic_menu7 they could decrease shot power of chained shots while still increasing bond power, it could be a thing where like ex. 75% second chain, 50% third chain and so on
I wanted to say lightning bolt is a better name, i've heard you say that it is a literal translation now, but bolt also means a sudden movement or a unexpected dash which fits perfectly with the move, plus it's a pun now which is so good. Lightning bolt is literally my favorite move name now, and yes also because jordan greenway is the best.
Bolt can mean running quickly, sure, but that's still originally derived from "a lightning bolt" so the move being called literally Lightning Bolt for me overrides any additional meaning. It'd be like saying the Pokémon move Thunderbolt is also a "pun" because it's really quick
@@TaleOfTheToasteryo the diffrence is that jordan is actually running with like unexpected movement, thunderbolt doesn't even have it's user run in any way, lightning bolt is just a masterpiece just because it has jordan actually running like really really quick and in an unpredictable manner. So yeah lightning bolt makes sense in my head and i think it's genius, and yes it's also just a lightning bolt but i like that they've tried to make it a pun. Makes it more likeable in my opinion
Seriously a bolt is per definition a "to move or proceed rapidly or a DASH" he is quite literally dashing in the movement of a lightningbolt. So yeah lightning bolt has gotten a double meaning, the overriding of having a meaning + him bolting through the shape of lightning. Pure art
I feel like the passing into goal isn't that big of a deal, as that's more of a defending player's fault, as it's easily stopped by just forcing zone into the opponent
@@Fistrike Yeah but doing it is the most disrespectful thing a player can do to an another player. Its just a no skill cheat mechanic. I think whenever an enemy player gets close to the goal it should automaticlis switch to zone.
I think the Breach mechanic should have a variable range of maybe 5~10%, where the % chance within that range is determined by where you put the ball. If you put the ball in a spot where the keeper would have to dive for the ball, the chance to Breach goes up, like how in irl football, the chance of scoring increases the further away the goalie is from where you shoot. But if you put the ball right where the keeper is standing, the chance decreases, because you kicked it right into the keeper's hands. Idk what numbers make the most sense for this idea but I think the concept is solid. Right now I don’t see much of a reason to aim your shot since it’s all based on keeper hp if they’re in front of the goal anyway. EDIT: Someone else in the comments said that they should have crits just have increased attack power instead of guaranteeing a goal, and I completely agree with that. And it still works well in tandem with my idea.
@@jeroen9343 I thought everyone else in the TXM tournament was going to do that , so I afraid of beign underlevel , but now I know that I'm the overleveled :[
As for the Italian translation it feels like they asked an AI to translate from English to italian. For example at the start of the match the game tells you "Press A button" to start while in italian it says (translated) "A News press button". I also found a couple of typos already, (translated from italian) I continue instead of continue and new gane instead of new game. I'm still having lots of fun though 😊
Would be sick for spirits to limit them to a max of like 2 players (like in the anime) and than only a buffed version of a move which drains a full tension bar
Finally got to come across the vid its seems like we are having a overall good time with this game! My one take that i want to bring to the comments is that they did mention the usage of A.I for their pictures in the little cutscene ones they showed us awhile back and that what concerns me for the names they have been choosing so far for special moves and descriptions which is why we may been seeing all these errors in the beta! (Thank you for the reccomendation on the breach video!)
Yeah we heard that Level-5 wants to use AI for assistance in coming up with sidequests for Decapolice which is... concerning, how open they are about it, but yeah hoping for a minimum in Inazuma (some of the non-English translations of the game seem to imply it though). Hope my recommendation of your video gave it a boost, and hit me up some time soon for a multiplayer vid!
Folks who don't have a switch like myself, i would just like to say a working switch emulator exists, as well as rom of the game... (i usually wouldn't be saying any of this, i will probably end up buying the game twice, but that's on them for only releasing on switch) On an unrelated note, the game is really fun and i'm so happy it exists😃
My biggest problem with Tension is that they had to overbuff keepers in their base forms with the Keeper Gauge, since you can't use their moves anytime you want, which unfortunately makes Catch and Shoot moves feel a lot less impactful.
The only thing i dislike is invincible goal keeper. That is incredibly overpowered bc you can easily stale out a victory if you wanted. Also I love that you can change your starting formation ( where everyone is positioned). Plus that it gives you an ! On a character that can be given a spirit. Love the game and look forward to more content tale!
From just the minimum amout of mish-mashing I've tested with the available players in the demo, I am growing more and more hyped to build my own personal team in the finished game. While I don't expect the game to have as many "filler" characters as the DS games, I do hope Victory Road doesn't pull a Strikers and ONLY include "canon" characters. Let us atleast have some of the more iconic ones like Pants or my home boy; Avery Rarecard. If the latter is in the game, I'll cry rivers of joy
Just started watching but 1 thing i really really fucking want is that my hissatsus level up after using them a lot of times. Only farming Ghosts are getting tired after a while
I love move levelling up within the handheld Inazuma games where you're mostly taking one team through competition routes, but here with online play as a big factor, I don't want people to be discouraged from using new lineups and therefore I don't think move evolution should be here as it gatekeeps training up new people behind a time investment
Anime only fan here, so i know nothing on how inazuma eleven games work, but i find the game fun. The biggest downsides are the losing grind, and the matchmaking and the online netcode ( Definitely not strong enough for a US-to-Japan connection 3 out of 5 times) That said, I'm kinda interested in how the Steam and Playstation betas will go online due to them having better online and most players being corded instead of wifi.
Ive played inazuma eleven ever since the first game came out in the uk and after completing it i had to beg my parents to get 2 and 3 in japanese lol. Im so exctied for victory road to come out Btw voted for you as favourite streamer in the questionaire
@@TaleOfTheToaster I'm thoroughly enjoying the beta so far. Slowly grinding up ranked but the level differences really matter. Wasn't able to play day 2 so now I'm behind
the UI to me very much looks like you're choosing from three sets, and that's absolutely what I want, because flicking through multiple menus during gameplay would be overkill and I don't want one player carrying the team. But we'll see
@TaleOfTheToaster Dude we saw in the TGS guide you press L + A or B or X or Y to choose one of your other 4 moves. I'm not sure why they're split into 3 sets, maybe the first one is for level up moves and one of the other two is for moves learned through Abilearner board? They did say something about "unlock events", but I don't think they strictly mean story events. My theory is that in Chronicle mode each character has 2 quests to unlock special moves.

I miss being able to control all my players with the stylus. I remember they said there would be touch controls in a dev log, wonder if they’ve abandoned that though since the game is so different now.
That may have been in reference to the ares game when it was going to originally be a switch exclusive. Now they're bringing it to other platforms I'm not sure if they'll have played control.
I‘m overall happy, both about the game being good and that it’s a Beta so certain problems can be ironed out. Like, Breaches in their current form should flat out not exist. A 10% chance + all the passives you can stack, to score regardless of every factor, is not only frustrating, but completely invalidates the entire elaborate power-system they’ve cooked up.
Loving the game and its mostly positives for me, so I'll leave some of my negatives: -The tension, while being better for gameplay, also takes away the most iconic thing about Inazuma Eleven, which are the special moves, I still havent found a use for any dribble move for instance, either try to breakthrough or pass to ensure my forwards get to special shoot. (also the meaningless of the bench) -If the players can only have 2 special moves, it will leave some players incomplete, some characters like ShindouTakuto/RiccardodiRigo are meant in cannon to be perfectly balanced (fortissimo shot, einsatz block, presto turn dribble), or leaving characters like FubukiShirou/ShawnFrost without his iconic eternal blizzard. -The game already has enough RNG as it is (scramble, fouls) and thats... fine. But having the breach mechanic and the random super tactic are not. -Games are way too short, not asking for 20minutes matches, but considering you're still have to dwindle down the kepper's HP, it takes time to score goals, and unlike real football matches or realistic football console games, the ref straight up stops the match even if you're in a middle of an attack. -Had some glitches where the camera wasnt following the ball, and saw some mistakes in translation where spaces weremissing, but that doesnt matter to me. -Having the Alius team locked behind the online paywall in the demo was not a good move.
I'm playing go galaxy in Japanese to challenge my Japanese understanding and I'm about 72 or so hours in and I have 60 of 100 recruitment items to get "THE HARDEST REQUIREMENT" in the game that you yourself deemed impossible so I am getting there
I dont think spirits or armour woulf be unbalanced in this game if they just made the cost ridiculously high Im talking like 100% tension to summon and then to actually do a special move its still another 30
I really dislike the no offside mechanic. It's supposed to give you a "advantage" but 1. I don't feel like the advantage is noticeable (From my own experience) and 2. It doesn't matter. If my opponent keeps spamming long passes to their offside forwards 3 times they'll still score. And because you can't control more than 1 player at a time, the defenders are not even close to the opposite player. There are some more things I can't quiet get use to like the wall mechanic. Besides that I feel like it's an upgrade that the goalkeepers are buffed but to me, it feels like I'm not playing Inazuma Eleven, goalkeepers stopping something like Fire Tornado DD or Legendary Wolf with their bare hands...? And the cooldown on goalkeeper's moves? If you stop the ball, pass it to the midfield and lose it, they pass into an offside player and you can't do anything because the goalkeeper can't use a special move... A long rant but I guess I had to say it. I like the demo overall but there are also some major flaws in my eyes. I don't want to see special moves every second but special moves make Inazuma Eleven stand out and amazing but in this game it doesn't feel cool or special because 90% of the time it's just going to be for example, Black Ash and then shot chaining into a normal shot and then the goalkeeper catches it with their bare hands. Comparing it to the anime or past games, they felt powerful and it was nerve racking to see if Mark's Dimensional Hand could stop Paolo's Odin Sword and now it's just, you use Disaster Break with Zanark and Darren just catches it without any struggle. Doesn't feel like Inazuma Eleven to me.
I just hope that if they bring ranks back that they reduce the amount of goals, 5:0 seems like a bad idea for this game if you want a s rank. Also i hope they dont put charckter or other unlocks behind the online mode, unless they allow you to unlock them in both single and multiplayer and make it fast for multiplayer. This game has quit the chance to have a dead multiplayer later on with only hardcore pro playing (was already bad enought with the 2 version thing in previous games).
I feel honoured for you calling out Dutch people and our national child hero 'Sinterklaas'😂 i think i saw that the beta had some sort of limit from march 28 till june 28 So maybe a release in july/august?? I'm just waiting for a beta release on ps5 😂
The only things I wish for are the tutorials to explain more and for things to be much slower. I want either more time to make a choice or when zone is activated, it's even slower
If I were to describe this game it would be Playing against cpu players is like sonic generations And playing online is like sonic frontiers (in that it’s good but needs some work) Also did anyone think the English commentary sounded weird like it was text to speech
Wanted to ask at what level does Aphrodi (Byron Love) learn God Knows? Cos man, it's so grindy. I get it that this is a demo and you don't have access to several things, but some of the characters have got their signature moves, it would feel like a waste if Aphrodi doesn't have his signature move as well. Plus they gotta make the characters unlock their moves pretty early in my opinion. It is what it is, but damn
Kenshin could operate as a way to use 100% tension for a super shot/super move. It would maybe give a team wide status buff with it too, maybe White Breath makes shots stronger against a wall or something. Also, changing the goalkeeping to where you can SEE what shot is getting thrown at you is so amazing. I’m so glad they fixed the thing I hate the most about old games (esp go galaxy level 99 routes).
4:28 it isn't, bailong gets a dribbling move instead(see replies if you want spoilers on what dribbling move) Also the reason to use bench players is to be able to ignore the special move cooldown that happens every time you use a special move(useful for strikers and keepers) in addition whenever you swap in a bench player your manager gives them a buff which can be useful however this cannot be abused to have constant buffs as once you swap in a player you are committing as you can no longer swap back in the player you swapped out in the first place
@@Franatomy stop in plays can happen more often if you know what you're doing. A favorite strategy of mine is to have a defender take the ball from me by the edge of the pitch forcing a throw-in They steal the ball it's mine and I can access my bench. They don't steal the ball I get tension and to move up the pitch
Theres only one thing that really bothers me about the beta, I have horrible internet so it’s pretty much unbearable to play online, I either DC or I just get absolutely wrecked, so I am pretty much am locked out of the “aliens” which is a shame, would’ve loved to play with torch, gazelle, and Janus instead of Jordan
i'm only on 10 minutes but why you just don't pass to the other player with hissatsu technic to make you next shot more powerful maybe its a little hard but i did 2 hissatsu combo 1 time to get the goal
My first session (4 games) was awful as heck. Not a single win because I couldn't get it. The tutorial video was no help in my case. Some things were easy to understand, but not anything. And I didn't want to watch the whole thing over and over. I would rather have a page by page tutorial like in the DS titles (with smaller sections). It got way better in the second session and I put my Strikers mindset on and now it feels really good. Yes, the lag is a big problem. It's not even funny when the game "favors only the opponent". Around 70% of my online matches where lag matches and I hated them with a passion. Today I (Team Lvl20) had 2 nice matches. First was vs a Team Lvl1 player. I hold a bit back and for the first 40 minutes I held it on equal footing. I ended the game with 3:1 and I hope it was a good experience for him (kinda). Second was a player around TLvl 21 and it was awesome. No lags and no tryharding - fair and square and ended 1:0.
Ngl I'm very torn on the gameplay. It feels like playing Strikers but extremely complicated for no reason. It just doesn't feel like Inazuma Eleven at all. Maybe I'll buy the game purely for the story mode but I'm not sure yet.
They're not in the beta, but like Tsunami Boost they were all available in Strikers so it's safe to assume they're all gonna be in the full game, but don't expect any Bunshin Penguin.
@@ZeroTwoOne021 I hope they add every move from strikers plus go galaxy(Since there already re using move animations from go why not go all the way yk)
My complaints so war are: - Breach and Save mechanic obviously - that rarity of players makes it harder to level them (it was always hard in Inazuma games so dont make it even more harder!) - that special tactics are just boosts in numbers. Why not making them the way the were before in the games and anime? it´s so boring now - giving item drop effects only to specific players, which kinda forces you to use characters you dont like. And in general grinding for such stuff was never fun. - elements (I honestly don´t get, why it never got removed. you often don´t really focus on this stuff and also don´t adjust your whole team just to counter the opponents element, which is often mixed anyway) - Ai is too focused only on one side. Dunno if it´s just for the demo, but they always are focused on their left side of the team. You barely see any action of the other side and mostly see like 7 of the 11 players. Some even never during the whole match doing a thing. - the Tension gauge is sometimes hard to estimate if you have enough for a move or not, since there are no numbers at all - Management of the team is kinda clunky, especially by equipping them but also with training their rarity. No options to activate like all character specific spirits for example. - skipping scenes need to hold a button, instead of just pressing it or disable it in options at all. - no SP Limit for Players. It kinda doesnt motivate you anymore to switch players but of course without them it makes possible to do more chain shoots I guess. - it helped a lot but it is kinda weird that the goalkeepers barely get any break during halftime. As if the game continues instantly - not being able to scatter your defense line during the "Zone" situation. You often can´t tell if they are going for a direct shot or a chain shot to it would be great to guard the goal from multiple directions - no options to order your team. it´s sometimes annoying when you are going for a chain shot but your strikers are close to each other, sometimes too close to react in time and also it would be great to order them better if you are going for a distance shot to make a chain attack close to the goal possible. in the former games the strikers often run towards the shot to reach it in time
Spamming special tactics make them not special. Yeah ok meanwhile i see a Mark Evens simply catch a Disaster Strike. This dont feel like inazuma to me feel a little like strikers witch is meh This feel like FIFA UTC "The levels really really matter..." Yeah it will be so fun when levels are not the problem and the problem is the special cards with legendary colors and stuff
When you say it doesn't feel like Inazuma Eleven, do you mean the game or the anime ? Because I'd argue this game is more like the anime than the previous ones, even more than Strikers. It's a mix of both type of games to me, using your thinking skills and reflexes way more than previous instances. Of course there is some things that are weird. To me, goalkeepers at full energy that are capable of stopping hissatsu are not a problem, as such instances happened before + in this game, you'd prefer using your hissatsu to not lose a lot of energy in the process and to boost considerably your statistics. To me, empathis on normal shots, blocks and catches are great, as it is more realistic even to the Inazuma world. The special tactics are not a problem to me as well, as you will use them wisely in specific situations, it is not as game breaking as you say. And to tell the truth, I happen to not use any during games sometimes, as it can be good boosts but not as important especially in PVE. My personal problems are : 1. Lack of moves and characters from IE3, Go Galaxy and IE Ares/Orion. This will be solved for the main game (especially moves, I hope). 2. Offside is a little bit dumb, should give a bigger penalty or a bigger boost to the opposite team. 3. The progression in PVE is atrocious, I've played more than 100 games (so more than 1000 minutes/16h on the game without counting upgrading characters etc..) and still don't have a single player near lvl 30 + I don't have access to the Alius team. 4. Selecting characters and selecting the passes is a bit hard right now. 5. The breach system is a bit too strong.
@@mae8631 yeah true it's more like the anime but I liked the full spam every encounter hissatsu tecnics. It feels like playing FIFA with powers and I prefer more the fantasy of the other games but it's only my preference 👍🏻. I agree many points you made will be solved. I also don't like it being so focused in online Play. I mean I want to be able to get EVERYTHING offline and when o feel I have a good team and want to play online go for it. Not having to grind in online just because I need some coins or some item. Offside I mean it should simply be offside IMO just like the other games. Because you are trying to make the game more tactical and stuff but there are no offside 😅🤣 If this is like full level up gameplay idk I feel it lacks the magic of the other games in term of hissatsus the player having only 2 moves and not being able to change that + the tension meaning even "99+ ultra level" I can't spam it's kinda sad for me but anyway 😂. I am a pretty tryhard fan I have played all the DS and 3DS games in ALL the versions to have the characters and stuff, so I really liked the way they had done things in the past but it's ok 😅😅😅 I will not say it's trash and stuff but I am sad XD

I can't say I'm enjoying the game much. The aggression and attacking are way out of hand. I don't understand the foul system or why it seems like the opponent never gets yellow cards for attacking me nonstop. I like the attributes and mechanics but for some reason I can't enjoy a game where I'm getting assaulted the whole time and can't enjoy game. I'm pretty sure I wont be getting this if this is what I have to look forward to.
@TaleOfTheToaster no I know I was just assuming the full game would let you use more than 2 , either by having different controls or by having each character only have 2 of each type (dribble shot defence etc) but still more in total. I don't necessarily mind as the demo proves 2 special moves work fine and it'll be more strategic I'm just surprised
For an open beta demo I enjoy how much content there is in this game. It was hard to get used to the new mechanics but playing it I got used and started getting better at tension duels, passing and how goals work
Only complaint is that switching characters feels clunky

But overall the beta is fun, agree on yhat too
yeah you have to hope that the right player gets selected
@@crisscore157 Not definitely not 20%. Maybe like 5% to 10% because there's abilities that increases the chance for a break to happen.

Be sure to make a comment about this in the Demo feedback page... 😉
Positives

We should ask for a tournament standard mode in feedback, a mode where all character levels and rarities are equalized so it’s purely skill/team comp-based.
Kinda like how Clash Royale has both ladder and tournament modes, where the latter standardizes card levels.
Literally. Rarity and high level moves aren't that imo, it's just a matter of level
Yea but then I think the best level to be that needs to be level 30 so you have every move
as far as the focus battles, You can tel who has the balls by the color of the hands, if they are blue, the opponent has the ball. if they are orange, you have the ball
@@Cam10_84 yeah, I believe it's called "Technical number"
My only real complaint is it forces you to play online to unlock the alius members

Something they could do to “nerf” long passes is to increase the bond system, so if you want a more powerful shot you need to pass through the midfield, not sure how that would work though
The chain is already powerful enough
Chain should be nerfed

It'd be like saying the Pokémon move Thunderbolt is also a
"pun" because it's really quick
Pure art
My main issues with the beta are that you can just score by passing into the goal and the passive skills that boost breaches are just way too good
I feel like the passing into goal isn't that big of a deal, as that's more of a defending player's fault, as it's easily stopped by just forcing zone into the opponent
Yes and I’ll say it’s absolutely wonderful because I’ve missed this series since the 3ds era

The Spanish translation has some errors too. Maybe they didn't have much time to translate it?
one of my only peeves is the fact you can't change the stick sensitivity, it better be in main game.
Also don’t upgrade your card rarity until your level 30 because then you level up slower if you have a higher card rarity
Would be sick for spirits to limit them to a max of like 2 players (like in the anime) and than only a buffed version of a move which drains a full tension bar
I was on a Trip where I wasn’t allowed to bring my switch so I’m a day 3 player 😢
Yay…
@@TaleOfTheToastergave it quite the boost i must say! and im down for a multiplayer video!
Folks who don't have a switch like myself, i would just like to say a working switch emulator exists, as well as rom of the game... (i usually wouldn't be saying any of this, i will probably end up buying the game twice, but that's on them for only releasing on switch)
On an unrelated note, the game is really fun and i'm so happy it exists😃
👍🏼
They did say they plan to bring back spirit in a later time so hoping they can balance it this time
My biggest problem with Tension is that they had to overbuff keepers in their base forms with the Keeper Gauge, since you can't use their moves anytime you want, which unfortunately makes Catch and Shoot moves feel a lot less impactful.
Exactly, I feel this too, o think TP Sustém should return at least to GK
This better release before December lol I can’t wait that long
The only thing i dislike is invincible goal keeper.
There's a confirmed number of more than 4500 characters of previous games only, so probably loads of non canon characters !
Well, those are some lovely news. Cheers
The biggest downsides are the losing grind, and the matchmaking and the online netcode ( Definitely not strong enough for a US-to-Japan connection 3 out of 5 times)
That said, I'm kinda interested in how the Steam and Playstation betas will go online due to them having better online and most players being corded instead of wifi.

they're very different games, but I hope you enjoy them!
@@TaleOfTheToaster I'm thoroughly enjoying the beta so far. Slowly grinding up ranked but the level differences really matter. Wasn't able to play day 2 so now I'm behind
Actually, in the final game, players will have up to 6 special moves, and they will be able to use all of them during the matches
the UI to me very much looks like you're choosing from three sets, and that's absolutely what I want, because flicking through multiple menus during gameplay would be overkill and I don't want one player carrying the team.

SINTERKLAAS MANTIONED RAHHHHH❤

Loving the game and its mostly positives for me, so I'll leave some of my negatives:
-The tension, while being better for gameplay, also takes away the most iconic thing about Inazuma Eleven, which are the special moves, I still havent found a use for any dribble move for instance, either try to breakthrough or pass to ensure my forwards get to special shoot. (also the meaningless of the bench)
-If the players can only have 2 special moves, it will leave some players incomplete, some characters like ShindouTakuto/RiccardodiRigo are meant in cannon to be perfectly balanced (fortissimo shot, einsatz block, presto turn dribble), or leaving characters like FubukiShirou/ShawnFrost without his iconic eternal blizzard.
What I want is that you can position your players when there is a kick in or throw in or smth
What was the thought process of changing Illision Ball to Illusory Ball anyway?
I'm playing go galaxy in Japanese to challenge my Japanese understanding and I'm about 72 or so hours in and I have 60 of 100 recruitment items to get "THE HARDEST REQUIREMENT" in the game that you yourself deemed impossible so I am getting there
I dont think spirits or armour woulf be unbalanced in this game if they just made the cost ridiculously high
Im talking like 100% tension to summon and then to actually do a special move its still another 30
I was thinking treating them like a normal hissatsu, like striker did
Critical was a skill since inazuma eleven 2 (and I think the move's power also varied slightly in some of the games)
True yeah it was an optional skill, but I suppose it's GO 1 onwards where it became a built-in mechanic
Does anyone feel the field is too small?
I just hope that if they bring ranks back that they reduce the amount of goals, 5:0 seems like a bad idea for this game if you want a s rank. Also i hope they dont put charckter or other unlocks behind the online mode, unless they allow you to unlock them in both single and multiplayer and make it fast for multiplayer. This game has quit the chance to have a dead multiplayer later on with only hardcore pro playing (was already bad enought with the 2 version thing in previous games).
If spirits come back, I'm curious how it will work with the tension mechanic
i kind of wish wed get 3 moves per player though, so you can use one of 3 combos at level 30
I feel honoured for you calling out Dutch people and our national child hero 'Sinterklaas'😂 i think i saw that the beta had some sort of limit from march 28 till june 28

I don't think he has God Knows, because I haven't seen anyone use it yet
Level 20
It has some flaws and bugs in online mode but overall its a lot of fun. I enjoy it and looking forward for the game.
They need to reintroduce move levelups
The inazuma post has one error. They put "rplace" instead of replace
wierd one but i feel like the pitch could be bigger...could solve some midfielder problems
1:54 eyyy
4:28 it isn't, bailong gets a dribbling move instead(see replies if you want spoilers on what dribbling move)
Also the reason to use bench players is to be able to ignore the special move cooldown that happens every time you use a special move(useful for strikers and keepers) in addition whenever you swap in a bench player your manager gives them a buff which can be useful however this cannot be abused to have constant buffs as once you swap in a player you are committing as you can no longer swap back in the player you swapped out in the first place
It's wind god's dance
That's a really bad use of the bench plus you need to wait for a stop in play to make the change. Also the buff is inconsequential most of the time.
@@Franatomy stop in plays can happen more often if you know what you're doing. A favorite strategy of mine is to have a defender take the ball from me by the edge of the pitch forcing a throw-in
They steal the ball it's mine and I can access my bench. They don't steal the ball I get tension and to move up the pitch
Do we keep our accounts after the game releases or do we need to farm all over again?
The commentators still say the same things all the time 😭 I’ve heard “team work really does make the dream work” more times than I can count
My first game was Inazuma Eleven go shadow
Can players get more special moves or does it stay limited on 1?
Ik weet al wat op mijn verlanglijstje staat voor Sinterklaas...
Meanwhile me with a team focused on breach (i can get around +200% breach)
i'm only on 10 minutes
but why you just don't pass to the other player with hissatsu technic to make you next shot more powerful
maybe its a little hard but i did 2 hissatsu combo 1 time to get the goal
The only thing for me when they pass into my goal gk can't do shit about it that's all and maybe other characters that wil be added later
Ngl I'm very torn on the gameplay. It feels like playing Strikers but extremely complicated for no reason. It just doesn't feel like Inazuma Eleven at all. Maybe I'll buy the game purely for the story mode but I'm not sure yet.
The full game will feature Alpha as a playable character...
I need the steam release so i can record more than 30 secs ;-;
11:57 hmm does that mean they really were originally planning to use Japanese names?
It feels like there is less umpf to this game.
The games feel less epic, but that's just from looking at it, not playing it
Are there hissatsus like Grand Fire, Dragon Slayer, God Catch in the game or not
They're not in the beta, but like Tsunami Boost they were all available in Strikers so it's safe to assume they're all gonna be in the full game, but don't expect any Bunshin Penguin.
@@ZeroTwoOne021 I hope they add every move from strikers plus go galaxy(Since there already re using move animations from go why not go all the way yk)
My complaints so war are:
- Breach and Save mechanic obviously
- that rarity of players makes it harder to level them (it was always hard in Inazuma games so dont make it even more harder!)
- that special tactics are just boosts in numbers. Why not making them the way the were before in the games and anime? it´s so boring now
- giving item drop effects only to specific players, which kinda forces you to use characters you dont like. And in general grinding for such stuff was never fun.
- elements (I honestly don´t get, why it never got removed. you often don´t really focus on this stuff and also don´t adjust your whole team just to counter the opponents element, which is often mixed anyway)
- Ai is too focused only on one side. Dunno if it´s just for the demo, but they always are focused on their left side of the team. You barely see any action of the other side and mostly see like 7 of the 11 players. Some even never during the whole match doing a thing.
- the Tension gauge is sometimes hard to estimate if you have enough for a move or not, since there are no numbers at all
- Management of the team is kinda clunky, especially by equipping them but also with training their rarity.
As if the game continues instantly
- not being able to scatter your defense line during the "Zone" situation. You often can´t tell if they are going for a direct shot or a chain shot to it would be great to guard the goal from multiple directions
- no options to order your team. it´s sometimes annoying when you are going for a chain shot but your strikers are close to each other, sometimes too close to react in time and also it would be great to order them better if you are going for a distance shot to make a chain attack close to the goal possible. in the former games the strikers often run towards the shot to reach it in time
Where the classic ost at tho?
where to play that game? 😢
Spirits could actually be decent if balanced properly.
When is it coming to ps or steam
Spamming special tactics make them not special.
Yeah ok meanwhile i see a Mark Evens simply catch a Disaster Strike.
This dont feel like inazuma to me feel a little like strikers witch is meh
This feel like FIFA UTC
"The levels really really matter..." Yeah it will be so fun when levels are not the problem and the problem is the special cards with legendary colors and stuff
My personal problems are :
I mean I like the mechanical changes in front off the goal and that but I wanted to spam tecnics and ser the effects and stuff. 😅
I understand perfectly people prefering it like this but idk...
Because you are trying to make the game more tactical and stuff but there are no offside 😅🤣
If this is like full level up gameplay idk I feel it lacks the magic of the other games in term of hissatsus the player having only 2 moves and not being able to change that + the tension meaning even "99+ ultra level" I can't spam it's kinda sad for me but anyway 😂.
I am a pretty tryhard fan I have played all the DS and 3DS games in ALL the versions to have the characters and stuff, so I really liked the way they had done things in the past but it's ok 😅😅😅
I will not say it's trash and stuff but I am sad XD
Really didn't understand most of the gameplay Mechanic's i wish it was more action and you're more free to move without stopping know and then

WAIT IN THE MAIN GAME THEY ARE STILL LOCKED TO ONLY 2 SPECIAL MOVES
2 moves from a choice of 6, we believe
@TaleOfTheToaster no I know I was just assuming the full game would let you use more than 2 , either by having different controls or by having each character only have 2 of each type (dribble shot defence etc) but still more in total. I don't necessarily mind as the demo proves 2 special moves work fine and it'll be more strategic I'm just surprised
Online is not balance every time il play againt somone else thy come outside the eu
And then the game play is realy buggy
