Always enjoy these videos but uh guys just a tip: What works for her,may or may not work for so don't go out and buy these expected to master it(learned it the hard way) and if you do then congrats!
MetroCityProductions The only real tip I can give you is to do your research, all schools have different portfolio requirements for new students. Check to see what SCAD requires for an applicants portfolio (most schools do), than focus on making those things the best you can. Good luck!
I always enjoy these videos! I love your copic storage thingee ;) I made one out of foam board and it's actually not bad. I should totally do a video like this too for my channel. Thank you for sharing, that was a lot of fun!
i only discovered your channel today and i absolutely love your videos!!!! your art is so inspirational and it motivates me to draw more than i already do omg
Cool idea! I personally don't think art supplies matters a whole lot, but it does make a difference to a degree, so it's interesting to see what you normally use.
Thanks! I agree, the supplies don't really matter all that much - it's the artist that is using the supplies that will make amazing art. I do really enjoy seeing what other artists' favorite supplies are, so I thought I'd share mine. :)
since you have the entire copic collection, can you prerelease do a video about which of the colours look very similar? I've heard people say that there are almost duplicates in the series
As far as the light box goes I couldn't find the exact one you have but blick offers a very similar one called the daylight wafer led and it comes in 9x12 and 11x17 :) hope this helps someone looking for a light box similar to yours
I noticed that you have an Erin Condren Planner. Do you decorate the pages fancy like some of the other youtubers or do you leave them as is? If you do decorate them, it would be cool to see how you do it! :)
The Art Supplies I Always Use Is: -Prismacolor Coloring Pencils And Markers.(Sometimes I Use Crayola Colors) -Daler Rowney Sketch,Graphite And Charcoal. So Im Thinking In Upload A Video About It ^^
Yea wacom cintiqs are awesome! I'm planning on buying a cintiq companion 2 later this year or early next year, depending if I'm able to save up my money instead of buying video games on PlayStation Network and on Steam xDDDDDD
I haven't bought any in a few years now (not since the last time Copic released new colors)... I believe it took me about a year to get all the colors. :)
Kneaded erasers simply "pick up" graphite or charcoal, and can be molded for precision erasing (ex: to a point for a small space). It is mostly used to lighten certain areas, but not erasing all the graphite away (for highlights, monochromatic stuff, made something too dark, etc). It does not wear away or leave residue like traditional erasers, but there comes a point where it contains so much graphite that it leaves marks rather than erase them. (That's the gist of it, but sorry if I'm wrong about any information) It really just depends on what you're trying to do, whether or not kneaded erasers work better c:
The new sketchbook that you have, be careful! I have one at home and the cover, back cover and first page ripped apart from the sketchbook :( maybe I was to rough with it buy yeah... Just passing on me experience
I was wondering what category you studied at the art institute there were so many options when I clicked on the actual fine arts and animation section but it was hard to find the right one
In the end if the video, it showed a journal with your name on it and I was wondering if it was an agenda ? And if so, how or where did you get it made ? Cx

I got so excited when I saw this video :3
I noticed that you have an Erin Condren Planner. Do you decorate the pages fancy like some of the other youtubers or do you leave them as is? If you do decorate them, it would be cool to see how you do it! :)

light tables, The same people who sell copics have their own Light tables LED and thei are in small and large. a great investment :)
How long have you collected your copics? It's ok if you don't remember the correct date.
I haven't bought any in a few years now (not since the last time Copic released new colors)... I believe it took me about a year to get all the colors. :)
wow awesome at least I still have hope, I can get as much as you someday.
I actually screamed when I saw that Thorin sketch.. Hnnn
I love your videos!!!
What r needed erasers? Do they work better than normal erasers??

Sam Isasi Thanks for the warning! I treat my things very kindly, so I shouldn't have to worry, but it's good to know! :)

Cool!
I was wondering what category you studied at the art institute there were so many options when I clicked on the actual fine arts and animation section but it was hard to find the right one
I studied animation, but I specialized in illustration - this specialization was arranged after I was already in school.
Where do you get your planner? I like personalized things and planner accessories!
it's from erincondren. com :)
It is from erincondren.com, that store is terrible (and by terrible I mean awesome) because you can have literally anything on there customized.
In the end if the video, it showed a journal with your name on it and I was wondering if it was an agenda ? And if so, how or where did you get it made ? Cx
Yes, that is my planner - it's from erincondren.com. :)
